ROUND 2 OF THE LAST MAN STANDING TOURNAMENT!

Marcus: Alright, we're ready now to start the second round of Nemesis Rex's Last Man Standing tournament, this has been some great stuff so far, and tonight it only gets better.

Mike: that's right, some exciting matches in the first round, Skull defeating Zane in a big comeback, and Chris Terrace narrowly defeating Sean Connolly. Jeff Stiles and Astrius's matches really weren't that big a deal, Astrius beating Chet Hart fairly easily, and Jeff Stiles having a somewhat tough match against Synn, but nothing nearly as tough as Skull and Terrace had. Alright, it looks like Nemesis Rex himself is coming down to oversee the random drawing here...

*shot goes to Nemesis Rex inside the ring*

Nemesis Rex: Tonight, we have four participants... four combatants looking for the number one spot in the Extreme Division. As the host of this tournament, I have taken it upon myself to decide the pairings for this, the Second Round of the Last Man Standing Extreme Tournament. Gentlemen...

*Two ring crew guys carry a ridiculously oversized spinning lottery style drum into the ring, with four plastic balls in it.*

Nemesis Rex: I will now choose the names of two men. They will be paired together, with the remaining two being paired together, and this match will commence. The first name... *Rex pulls a plastic ball out of the drum, breaks it open, and pulls out the piece of paper inside it* is Skull! he will be paired with... *Rex pulls another plastic ball out of the drum, breaks it open, and pulls out the piece of paper inside it* Chris Terrace! which means by process of elimination, they will face Astrius and Jeff Stiles. Oh, and one more thing gentlemen... this match will be contested under Extreme rules... and it will be best 2 out of 3 falls! Good Luck!

*Nemesis Rex leaves the ring as the four wrestlers have already made their way to the ring during the drawing*

Marcus: Wow! Jeff Stiles and Astrius vs Skull and Chris Terrace! and here we go!

Marcus: the bell rings, and I guess Jeff and Skull have decided they're going to start for their respective teams. Skull starts off quickly with an elbow to the head, and now a big right hand.

Marcus: Skull scoops Jeff Stiles up, and... drops him down in a Samoan Drop!

Mike: wow, things not looking good for Jeff already, a big move right off the bat, and another one as Skull lands a DDT, and now I think Jeff is looking to make a tag.

Marcus: he sure is as he makes it to his corner and tags Astrius in.

Marcus: Astrius in and he helps Jeff set Skull up into a Powerbomb, and... Powerbomb/Neckbreaker Combo! Skull slowly to his feet, and Astrius spears him as Jeff leaves the ring.

Mike: and Skull now is heading towards his corner to make the tag, and now in comes Chris Terrace.

Marcus: Skull and Terrace get Astrius between them, and... Sandwich Clothesline! and Astrius goes down hard! Skull leaves the ring, and Terrace starts stomping away at Astrius.

Mike: Both teams working well together despite being thrown together at the last second, and neither team really holds any sort of advantage yet.

Marcus: Astrius now throws Terrace to the ropes, and now runs to the opposite ropes, both men meet in the center of the ring, and Astrius nails Terrace with a HUGE Clothesline! Terrace slowly back up, and Astrius attempts a kick, Terrace catches it, and lands a low blow!

Mike: Terrace not about to let this turn into a wrestling match here, he's making sure this at least resembles a brawl of some kind, and now Astrius heads back towards his corner to tag Jeff in.

Marcus: Jeff grabs Terrace from behind, and... drops him down in a backbreaker! he picks Terrace up now, and lands a big headbutt to the back of the head! Terrace doesn't go down, but instead makes his way towards his partner.

Mike: Terrace playing it smart, he knows he needs to rely on his partner as well as himself to get to that next round, these four men know that their respective partners aren't going to screw them out of the win, because that would mean screwing themselves out of the opportunity to become the number one contender!

Marcus: Jeff grabs Skull now, and... lands a big Belly to Belly slam! and now he pulls out the Sickle and starts dragging it across Skull's... uh... Skull... and now he drags him out towards the center of the ring and makes the cover, 1.....2....no, Skull kicks out.

Mike: hey, umm... who the hell is that ref?

Marcus: that's James Reese, the newest SHAFT official.

Mike: they didn't have a shirt with sleeves for the guy?

Marcus: I think he tore them off.

Marcus: well Skull has tagged in Terrace, Jeff not about to let him go quietly though, he scoops him up, and... STILEDRIVER! and Skull now slowly back to his corner, if he wasn't hurt before, he has to be hurt now.

Mike: Jeff not one to just let his opponents off easy, drilling Skull with a Stiledriver, I think Skull will think twice before re entering that ring.

Marcus: Skull scoops Terrace up now, and... ANOTHER STILEDRIVER! James over to make the count, 1 count only though as Skull makes the save.

Marcus: Astrius in to help Jeff, he grabs Skull, and... ASTEROID BELT! and Skull is in some serious pain now!

Mike: How can he not be? a Stiledriver, an Asteroid Belt, it's a good thing he's not the legal man.

Marcus: well I don't think Terrace has it any better, as Jeff scoops him up again, and... ANOTHER STILEDRIVER! he holds on, 1......2......3! Astrius and Jeff Stiles take the first fall!

Mike: wow, a convincing showing by Jeff Stiles and Astrius there, Skull and Chris Terrace have one hell of a comeback ahead of them if they want to advance in this tournament.

Marcus: Alright, the second fall is starting again, and it looks like Jeff and Skull are starting out again, Jeff starts with a headlock, and lands a couple punches to the top of Skull's head. Jeff now grabs Skull, and nails him with three headbutts!

Marcus: Skull forced to his feet by Jeff Stiles, Jeff lifts Skull up into a Torture Rack, and... down into a Powerbomb! he holds on, cover, 1......2.....NO! Skull somehow kicks out!

Mike: there's no way Skull meant to kick out of that, he's completely out of it, that was just instinct.

Marcus: Jeff scoops Skull up, and... STILEDRIVER! James over, 1.....2.....3! this one's over! Jeff Stiles and Astrius move on to the finals!

Mike: wow, that was a hell of a match, Jeff Stiles basically dominated that whole thing, with a little help from Astrius.

Marcus: I'd say more than a LITTLE help... Jeff was just trying to hog the spotlight as always.

Mike: Well either way, Jeff Stiles and Astrius will face each other in the finals to decide just who is the Number 1 contender to the Extreme Title!
