Rex Lautrec vs Blue Phantom

Marcus: Alright, the last match before our big Main Event tonight, as Blue Phantom takes on Rex Lautrec

Mike: yeah, now's a good time to go take a leak or grab something to eat before the next good match.

Marcus: Umm... Blue Phantom and Rex Lautrec aren't too bad, I think this is gonna be a pretty damn good match!

Mike: didn't you also once tell me you liked an Ahmed Johnson Match?

Marcus: uhh... no!

Marcus: Alright, bell sounds and this one's underway, as Blue Phantom starts nailing Rex Lautrec with right hands. Rex replies with a drop toe hold, slamming Blue Phantom into the mat.

Mike: wake me when it's over alright?

Marcus: Blue Phantom grabs Rex, and brings him down with a neckbreaker! and now he jumps on him and starts punching him with big left hands to the head.

Mike: uh huh...

Marcus: just pay attention Mike, I'm sure it'll be over soon.

Marcus: Rex with a gobehind now, Blue Phantom counters by falling backwards, Phantom back up and he drags Rex away from the ropes, and... drives his knee into Rex's groin!

Mike: that was alright I guess... hey, do you think they serve alcohol in this arena?

Marcus: I don't think so....

Marcus: Blue Phantom now tries a chokeslam or something, Rex kicks Blue Phantom in the groin before we have a chance to see what he was going to do. Rex pulls Phantom to his feet now, and locks in a Cobra Clutch... and bends him over his knee!

Mike: that looks pretty painful.

Marcus: at least PRETEND to sound enthusiastic.

Mike: fine... man, I don't think the back is supposed to bend that way, as the ref asks Blue Phantom if he wants to give up, but Phantom saying no way, and he breaks free. 

Marcus: Phantom up now, Rex with another gobehind... and Rex with a big Back Suplex! Blue Phantom nearly landing on his neck on that one.

Mike: Phantom has to be careful there, landing on the neck like that can cause serious problems, like... not being able to walk, or win the match.

Marcus: yeah I think not winning a match is a big problem compared to being a quadriplegic.

Mike: it's all related I think...

Marcus: good to see we've now offended just about everyone tonight, and... Blue Phantom scoops Rex Lautrec up, and... AZURE FUSION!

Mike: see that's what I'm talking about, Rex lands really hard on his head there, a cover by Phantom, 1......2...no, Lautrec kicks out.

Marcus: both men to their feet again, and Phantom now with those palm strikes, 1,2, and... a big third one drops Lautrec! Phantom with another cover but they're too close to the ropes and Lautrec able to get the break there.

Mike: I should hope no one ever loses a match to a slap, luckily Rex close to the ropes though.

Marcus: Rex right back up and he dropkicks Phantom in the knees... Phantom up half way... Rex with the big knee to the face!

Mike: a lot like Meika Komakazi's Komatose Rush, but Lautrec's a man so it's much more effective.

Marcus: Umm... ok.

Marcus: Phantom back up, and he takes a swing at Rex... Rex ducks, and... kicks Blue Phantom right in the groin!

Mike: yeah that's gonna make him turn blue in some other areas now, if Phantom has a girlfriend or a wife or something, she's going to be missing out tonight. Or maybe not I don't really know.

Marcus: Phantom back up now and he nails Rex with an uppercut... he pulls Rex to his feet, and motions that this is it right here! he lifts Rex up for an Atomic Drop... and turns it into a Chokeslam in midair! amazing move and Phantom goes for the cover now, 1......2.....NO!

Mike: Rex kicks out, that was almost it right there but Lautrec showing that the french people aren't as wussy as everyone says they are.

Marcus: there, I think we've offended everyone now.

Marcus: Lautrec puts Blue Phantom on his shoulders, runs, and... drives himself into the mat with Blue Phantom still on his shoulders!

Mike: Lautrec going kamikaze on Blue Phantom, using himself as a weapon sort of as he spears himself and Phantom into the mat. Rex hooks the leg for a cover, 1......2....no, Phantom kicks out!

Marcus: Phantom now retreats towards another corner, Rex follows, and... Phantom nails him with a few more palm strikes, and now he climbs to the top rope.

Marcus: Phantom up there, Rex to his feet, and... Phantom jumps off and nails Rex in the back of the head with a flying knee!

Mike: oh yeah, attacking a guy while his back is turned, way to go Blue Phantom, someone check to see if he's got a yellow streak on his back or something there?

Marcus: I thought you said you were going to sleep through this?

Marcus: Rex grabs Phantom, and... takes him over with a big Exploder Suplex! he pulls him right back up, and nails him with an overhand right, sending Phantom to the mat again, and now he catches his breath.

Mike: big mistake by Rex Lautrec, Phantom is out of it there, and Rex might have been able to win the match right there. instead he starts sucking air like it were croissants or something.

Marcus: Phantom up now, and he whips Rex to the ropes... Rex comes back, and... running palm strike by Phantom! Phantom makes the cover, 1......2......3! he got him! Blue Phantom wins!

Mike: with a SLAP!? what the hell?

Marcus: Blue Phantom celebrates in the ring as Rex looks at him, looking extremely tired.

Mike: with a SLAP!?

Marcus: I heard you the first time.

Mike: well whatever... Blue Phantom wins a fairly long and close match there, and I'm now well rested for the Main Event.

Winner: Blue Phantom

Phantom pins Rex Lautrec after a running Shotay.
