Have a question on your George Lee b 1801 with 3 marriages.  M1 Rebecca
Griffis and had 11 Children, m2 Mary Carter, M3 Miss Stephens in 1825???
Is Miss Stephens maybe the first marriage, or second?  If those 11
children were Rebecca Griffis marriage, must have been mostly multiple
births if dates are right.

I see you have some of my Campbell clan in your genealogy.  Charles Campbell said he's been in touch with you.  My greatgrandfather, Daniel N. Campbell, b. 1838 in Wayne County, was the son of William E. Campbell Sr.  I've been unable to confirm a date of death, though one source lists 1920, nor burial place.  The Durbins were unable to find a listing.  Any suggetions?  Jim Reeder

Just checking your homepage and find some of my family there:

Edward Mobley/Judy Scott
Jesse Daniel Mobley/Tobithia Taylor

I descend from Andrew Jackson Mobley 1st child of Jesse Daniel.

Others surnames of my tree: My mother was a CHESSER, A.J. Mobley married
a CREWS.  I am working on a four generation pedigree chart with FGS on
my FL State, Baker Co, FL, USGenWeb Project.  Think I have all except
L.T. Taylor's [whose daughters Tobithia & Hannah married brothers Jesse
Daniel and Levi E. Mobley] finished and will work on it later today.

Great page Greg. and thanks to Tara for forwarding your URL.

Hello Greg.
I am one of the Brantley County Lewis's. My father was Jasper
Oliver Lewis, known as Oliver Lewis. His father was William Riley Lewis, he died about two years
before I was born. I have been told that his father was William Henry Lewis , and that
William Henry Lewis' father was Jesse Lewis. Maybe you can confirm that for me from the
information that you have.
My mother was Verma Avilla Todd, Her father was Albert Todd. He and his
family came into Georgia and on to  St Augustine Florida with a covered wagon, and I
believe drawn by  horse rather than mules. They stayed in St Augustine  for a few years and then
headed bach to the carolinas but stopped off in Hickox to get supplies and he took a job at
the "TAR PLANT" there near Hickox. My mother was born just south of Hickox. They later
moved back to St Augustine for a few years and then ended up back in area that is now
Brantley county and finished out his life there.
Any information you can send me will be greatly appreciated. And if there is a family
connection let me know. I knew your grand father Aaron Sadler years ago.
Take care .

It appears that we are both stuck at the same
place.  I have the same information that you have and almost all of my
information came from the Huxford books.  I am a descendant of Joseph
and spell my name "Wainright" like you which is surprising.  I thought
those with a "W" in the middle almost all came from James.  I've been
told that the census of 1830 had Joseph spelled like us and James
spelled with the extra w.
Please let me know if you have all info from Huxford books and send
me a fax or u.s. mail address and I will send you copys of what I have.

I also have the Dominick line (that was the name the brothers Johannes
and Andreas used when they first came to America).  I have LOTS of
information on this line.  (Most Dorminey's are on the Johannes (John)
line.  Mine is the Andreas (Andrew)).

Hello Greg -

If your Jesse was a son of (Maj.) William & Mary (John) LEWIS
- my 5th-great-grandparents - then we're couusins.
Though I'm not sure how the rest of the family got to SC, (Maj.)
William arrived with the Continental Army.  (Probably Mary & the
children were camp-followers, as were many families during the
Revolutionary War.)  Land warrant 72 for 6,222 acres went to him
on 24 December 1782.  At least some of the land which he was
awarded was located in Union Dist., SC.

Burial:  Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Hickory Valley - also
his wife's body.  Rock House Chapter, DAR, placed a marker over
his grave.

     Will dated Feb. 24, 1812
Will proved May 1812, Sparta, Tenn.
Will - on file White Co., Clerk of Court, Sparta, Tenn.

Greg

I am tring to find where in GA, Jeremiah Davis comes from and if he is
connected to Samuel who is next to him on the census.. From the grave in
Emmaus he was born in 11 Apr 1806, looking at census data and what I have
gotten from Brabara Davis Cwarford, his Great-Granddaughter, he married Mary
(Polly) Batten  b-1841 Lowndes Co. dau Isham Batten, b 20 Jan 1808 in Johnson
Co, NC and Temperance Powers, b 14 Oct 1818 in GA. Mary bore him 5 children
Mary 1863, Zara Jefferson 1863, Isham 1867, Hiram 1873, and Sarah 1875.  Both
Barbara and I decend form Zara, myself thru Robert E Lee and she thru George
Washington.

Now what was the last name of his first wife Lytha and where did he come from
or was he in this location all the time just missed by the census takers, I
find two Jeremiahs in the census prior to this but nothing conclusive can be
derived from them.

Also do you know if this area was ever listed as being in Ware Co.  My Mapper
says no, but that could be a mistake or they could be located a little
fauther west then what I am thinking.

Any information you can provide me will be greatly appreciate.

I have more on the Battens and Davises and will be assembling more as I can.
Another cousin Susie Batten has a book on the Battens and is currently
producing a update that she hopes to get to the printer in Oct and the
Information will be included in it if we can consolidate it quickly enough
and prove it.

Greg:

Two weeks ago I had the chance to visit my mother in Waycross and to go to a
High Bluff Church Cemetary in Brantley Co. and Waters Cemetary in Pierce Co.
I gathered what I could on the Stricklands and Riggins' from the head

Found in the same group:
John Jr.'s son Griffin was born Mar 18, 1872; died Jul 8, 1957
Griffin's first wife was shown as Mizzelle Underwood

Two possible sons:
J. Hugh Strickland born Feb 22, 1900; died Feb 6, 1978
J. Vernon Strickland born Jan 10, 1907; died Dec 6, 1980

John Strickland, Sr. - the head stone has his death as Sep 7, 1804

John Sr.'s son Henry was born Jul 24, 1842; died May 15, 1920
Henry's first wife's name shown as Ellender, born Jan 26, 1837; died Jun 18,
1880
Henry's second wife Ellen was born August 29, 1856; died Jul 8, 1942
Henry & Ellender's son Leon Collie born Jul 20, 1875; died Nov 18, 1940

dates)
Matthew's wife was shown only as Ella G.  1888 - 1973

David and Treacy's son Abraham should be shown as Sr.(?).

Hope this helps you and others who have browsed your home page.

Greg,

I have the will of Thomas Sadler, Sr. on my computer (I use FTM), and I
also have a copy of the original that was sent to me.  Fortunately, I
live close enough to Brunswick County, that I have visited the court
house many times, but got this will and that of Featherston on my last
trip there about 3 weeks ago.  Send me your snail mail address and I'll
send you a copy of the will.

My line goes like this:
1.Thomas, Sr. m. Rebecca Featherstone
   2. Featherston (he dropped the 'e') Sadler
      3. Anney (Anna) Sadler m. Jarrett Abernathy
        4. Buckner Abernathy m. Nancy Lewis
          5. Benjamin Abernathy m. Ann Eliza Pritchett
            6. Cornelia Ann Abernathy m. Alexander Silkirk Lewis
               7. Clinton Lawrence Lewis m. Emily Virginia House
                  8. William Henry Lewis m. Lucy Frances Gauldin
                     9. Linda Diane Lewis m. Steven James Lepow

I descend also from Nancy Lewis and Alexander Silkirk Lewis, because
Alexander, son of  John A. Lewis--John and Nancy were sister and
brother; children of Ruel Lewis.  There are Sadlers in Brunswick County
and Greensville County today, but I do not know any of them.  We also
are related by heredity to the Sadler boys who race NASCAR these days.
The Civil War records for Brunswick County give quite abit of detail on
our collateral lines.

Send me your address and I'll get a copy of that will out to you.

Your Jesse Lewis is most probably the son of William Lewis and Mary John.
William and Mary had 12 children, the ninth of which was Jesse.  He is not
linked to Meriwether Lewis.  Meriwether Lewis' father was a William Lewis but
not the same William Lewis.  They have different dates of death.  Jesse's
father died in 1812 in White County, TN.  I have records showing Jesse
Lewis living in South Carolina.  Could they be the same?

Earl Cleland told me you had a good file on Brantley County history and
he was correct. I am a native of Brantley County, and a relative
newcomer to genealogy, for past 2-3 years, and find it very interesting.
Your files have been a help. Hopefully I can get my files on the
internet one day, am working on it.

In viewing your files I see that you show Barthalomew HIGHSMITH, with
parents of William HIGHSMITH and Annie UNKNOWN.

I have accumulated considerable information on the HIGHSMITH genealogy
(not as successful on maternal side JACOBS/MORGAN) and this is the first
reference I have seen to any HIGHSMITH prior to old Barthaw. Can you
provide me more info about this, sources, etc. I would appreciate it
very much. I do have some info that could fill out a little of you
information and would be happy to send to you if you would like to look
at it. I use Family Tree Maker and can send a backup type file or export
to GEDCOM.

My father is Thomas Jefferson COLLINS, Jr.

My grandmother Zettie was the daughter of Elias Knight WAINWRIGHT, son

My information has come from my grandmother's family group sheets (she

the land warrant in NC to James, Sr.  Thanks so much!

Hi Greg,

On your family genealogy page, you are showing Osgood Drury being married to
Mary Rowell.

Osgood Drury was my great grandfather.  His first born son, Patrick Henry
Drury born in 1899, was my mother's father.

In my grandmother's bible, Osgood Drury is shown as being married to Dora
Highsmith (Patrick's mother).  She died when Patrick was a small child.

His second wife was Cindy White, their children were John, Bill, and several
others.

I was wondering if there was a wife that I didn't know about?

The Rowell family was related somehow to Osgood, possibly Susan was his
mother.
Joseph Rowell's wife Lydia was my grandmother's sister.

I am still trying to find information on Osgood Drury.  If you have any, I
would deeply appreciate help you might give me.

Thanks ever so much,

Hi Greg,
Do you know who your Mary Beverly's mother was? I would
think that considering that William Beverly Sr. did not marry Jerushia
Langley until Oct. 5, 1815 that Mary, _____unknown, Rachel, William and
Nancy were the children of William Beverly and __________unknown Beverly.

What do you think?

My paternal grandmother's maiden name was Beverly. They all came from the
Gorham, Maine, Machias, Maine and Whiting, Maine area.  Our twins share
their middle names of Beverly because the Beverly surname runs on both my
side and my husbands side.

Let me know what you think!

Hi Greg,
Nice to meet you, cousin!  I enjoyed visiting the suggested websites
and plan to return again soon.  Thanks for sharing all of your family
research on the net.  I am in the process of entering my family groups
in my new Family Tree Maker.  I have accumulated a box of files these
past couple years since bitten by the genealogy bug, but only recently
got a new updated computer and discovered the Internet.  I am still
trying to learn as I go--mostly through trial and error.
We share at least 2 other ancestors:  Mary BEVERLY  and Ezekial S.
MILLER.  There are surely more ties as both my parents come from
Wiregrass Pioneer stock.
  Now, about my Elias Knight WAINWRIGHT: b. 5 June 1867, d. 9 May 1939,
born and died in Camden Co. GA, married to Elizabeth (Lazinna/Lazinnie)
HOWARD, 13 children, including Zettie WAINWRIGHT COLLINS, my
grandmother. He was the youngest of 10 children of John Ashley
WAINWRIGHT, son of Joseph (b. 1798 in Pitt Co., NC) who was the brother
of James.and his (John Ashley WAINWRIGHT's)wife, Bathseba MCCLELLAN.
I hope that this makes sense; if not, I'll be glad to clarify.
I will keep in touch if any new discoveries come to light.  I may have
other questions about other shared relatives!
Thanks for all of your help!

Well, I'm another of your long lost cousins.  Dennis Lewis of Atlanta told
me about your page.  My husband and I just got the internet and I thought
I'd take a look.  I'm amazed!!!  I thought I had a good bit on the Harris
and Lewis families.  I have nothing compared to this.  Wow!!!  Thank you
for sharing it with us.

I am the grandaughter of Joseph Eben Harris who was married to Annie Lou
Lane.  They had a daughter, Peggy Ann Harris, who was killed in a car crash
at the age of twenty.  I am Peggy's daughter.  I have two sons, Justin
Lanier Selman and Jonathan Allen Selman, ages 15 and 13.  My name is Pamela
Ann (maiden name - O'Quinn) Reinitz.  My mother, Peggy, was married to
Sidney Lanier O'Quinn.  (Louis, in this address, is my sweet husband)

Can you verify the information that you have here?  It sounded as though
you do try.  And if you don't mind my asking, are you a member of The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints???  If not, do you know about
the family history centers at the church???

Congratulation on a great web site.  I have Brantley County connections.
My mother and father were born and raised in Brantley County Georgia.  I

I am digging up my ancestors in Brantley County.  A few of our Surnames

I see that you have done quite a bit of research in the Strickland

In your data do you have any information on Effie Strickland?  She is
possibly the daughter of Aaron and Fairiby Strickland.  Effie is the mother
of my great great grandfather John Strickland. Any information would be
greatly appreciated.

I have quite a it of information on the David Barney Moody Family if you
are interested.  Also have information on Mary Jane Moody the wife of Jesse
Rowell.

Mary Ann Dennison Pearson Purdom Raulerson was my 5th great grandmother.

Eagerly waiting to hear from someone in Brantley County doing research.  I
have loads of related cousins.

I have a John Lee in my family tree. Born 1755 in Wayne Co., NC, married
to an Elizabeth. John died in 1838. Moved to Appling Co., Ga. in 1820.
They had seven children: James, Lewis, Jincy, Elizabeth, George, Mary
Ann and Pollie. Is this the same John Lee? I am a 4th great grandaughter
of John Lee and Elizabeth. I would like to exchange info on this family
if it is the same family. I have extensive information.
Thanks

Greg, Please see my home page.

I've done a lot of work on the Mundine family, my mother's maiden name.
Your Sarah could very well be the daughter of my Kittrell Mundine.  Sarah
was named in his will however there was no probate.  He lived & owned land
in Pitt Co. at one time, very active in the early Baptist church.
James & John were the names of 2 of her brothers.  We still don't know
Kittrells parents at this time. Please get back w/ me, I've VERY anxious to
talk w/ you.  We have never known what happened to Sarah.  Her brother
Charles is my ancestor.
Thanks,
Cindy

Hi Greg,
WOW! I'm impressed! I checked out your home page...I'd say that you've
done a lot more than I have with "our" family tree. I'm a mere babe in
the genealogy world.  How glad I am, to have found you and all those
"cousins" on our tree. I have a bunch more to add. I descended from John
Lee's daughter Elizabeth Lee. She was my 3rd great grandmother. I have
many of her descendents down through my grandson.
I also have some Henderson ancestors who descended from a David
Henderson from NC. I did not recognize any of the Henderson's on your
site as having a connection to the ones I know of. I have a gg
grandfather named Darling Rowell. There is a Moses Rowell and a Mary and
Henry Rowell that I am uncertain of their relationship on my family
tree. They were listed in some family information belonging to my mother
along with Darling Rowell's family. I am curious about a John Darling
Rowell listed in your tree....wonder if there's a connection since they
share an unusual name like Darling?
I have over a thousand names on my tree, which includes the names:
Lee, Malphus, Starling, McLeod, Strahan, Henderson, Dyess, Blanton,
Rowell, Carlton, McDonald, Boyet, Morgan, Russell, Wesley, Walters,
McCormick, O'Steen, Colson, Parrish, and Dees. These include my maternal
and paternal and some of my husband's line(very few) which I've only
recently started work on. I would be happy to contribute to and exchange
information on the Lee family tree and any connecting links.
My southern roots run deep, in spite of my current southwestern
residence. They are from Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia,
Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. No matter where I live, my
heart and soul remains southern through and through. Cousin Greg, I'm
looking forward to communicating with you about our great big family.

I came acrossed your web page by accident and boy am I glad I did!  You
may have provided me with information to unlock a family mystery.  The
family tale is that my great-grandfather (JAMES FRANKLIN LLOYD) was at
one time (JAMES FRANKLIN BOX) .  After locating the BOX name in your list of
surnames I now have something to go on.  After looking at where MARY
JANE BOX lived and during what time, this so called mystery may prove to
be true! If you have anymore information, it would be greatly appreciated!
THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR WEB PAGE !  ITS THE GREATEST FOR
SOUTH GEORGIANS LOOKING FOR THEIR ROOTS!

PS.  I am a direct descendant (my great granddad's mother was Jemima
(Mimie ) Lee) of the Lee family from Billy's Island, we hold

Your page is great! Thought you might find it interesting that I have an
ancester named John Perry Strickland from Wake Co., NC who was married on 29
JUL 1808 to Leah Jeffries.  They had a daughter, Jane Strickland, who married
James Thomas Perry. I do not know brothers and sisters names. This may be the
line you need to look at. Wish I had more info for you, but this is what I am
working with now. Please E-Mail if you think I can help you further.

Hi Greg,

I'm new to the Internet. Have been doing genealogy years. I have a lot of information on Wainwright's, McClellan's, Cooper's, Clark's, Beckham's, Highsmith's, etc. Our families either are directly descended, run parallel, or criss-cross many times. I only had a few minutes to glance through your info. Very great stuff! Lots of work! I did glance also at messages breifly. I saw one from Pat Brasher. I will definately have to get in touch with her because I've heard my mother and her brothers talk about Uncle Elias and Aunt Zinnie. Anyway I've got to run. As usual I'm way behind schedule. Will be out of town over night. Will try to get back here either sometime tomorrow morning or after the GA/FL game tomorrow. Are you a Gator fan by any chance. GA will probably get beat. But, GO-O-O-O, DAWGS!

Darrell Sadler

Nov 5, 1997 18:29

Greg,

Hi, I'm Darrell "Bo" Sadler of Evangeline Parish (County) Louisiana. I visited your Home Page a few days ago and noted that you were a Sadler/Saddler descendant. I have been researching my GG Grand-Father for a number of years and haven't been able to link hin to any of the earlier Sadler/Sadler Families. Any information that you may have on the Sadler/Saddler family would greatly appreciated by me and the family. The following information on William H. Sadler was extracted from the 1860 Louisiana Census. I have not been able to link him with any of the Sadler Families of Alabama, Virginia or South Carolina. NOTE: I believe that William's middle name was Henry but I'm not sure. William H. Saddler arrived in Louisiana from South Carolina some times before the 1860 census. He took up residence in Rapids Parish Louisiana and had property holdings of $9000.00 along with $1900.00 personal holdings. He likely arrived between 1851 and 1854 as his oldest daughter Mary Ann is listed in the 1860 census as being six years old and having been borne in Louisiana. William was married but his wife had died prior to the 1860 census and is not listed in that record. I have heard, from my cousin Elvin G. Sadler, that she died after a swinging accident, however we have no proof that this is what happened. The 1860 census list three children, Daughter Mary Ann Sadler six years old, Son William H. Sadler four years old, and Daughter Leonora Sadler two years old. Family history has it that William, at the start of the Civil War, Carried his children to Alabama. One of our cousin in Birmingham, Alabama, "Howard Sadler", stated that he left the children with a Glover Family in and around Demopolis, Sumter County, Alabama. I haven't found any information to support the family ties with the Glovers, however have found an article from the Sheffield Standard on a William H. Sadler being brought to Alabama in 1861. This date supports family history. Have just started looking at another Sadler family that was on the same Census record as William. This is the family of George Sadler. His wife's name is Martha and she was 38 years old being born in Alabama. George was 40 years old being born in South Carolina. George and Martha had three children listed. They were Lucy, 15 years old born in Alabama, Martha, 12 years old born in Louisiana and Henry C., 7 years old born in Louisiana. I believe this George could be William's brother, because they both settled in the same area and were reasonably close neighbors. Possible a good lead. I don't thank that William or George are related to your Thomas, however they could be as many Sadler's settled in Alabama in that line. Based on the information that William carried his children to Alabama in 1861, there could be a connection to Isaac Wellington Sadler, son of William Rose Sadler. Although the family that I'm leaning toward is Richard Sadler of York County, South Carolina. I have not been able to make any connection yet. I need a lot of help. Any Sadler information that I have I'll be glad to share. My mailing Address is: Darrell S. Sadler, 1148 Elm Bayou Road, St. Landry, Louisiana 71367. E-Mail address [email protected] Toy really have a super Page. Regards, Bo Sadler

Saw your page and I also saw a connection with your Richard Bennett. Richard is also my husband's 6th great grandfather. Descendants of Richard Bennett

Generation No. 1

1.  RICHARD1 BENNETT was born 1756 in Bladen (Robeson) Co., NC, and died 1830 in Wayne Co, GA.  He married MARY "POLLY" COOK 1785 in Georgia, daughter of JAMES COOK and MARGARET HAWTHORNE. Notes for RICHARD BENNETT:

Source:  Volume 6 of the Huxford series of "Wiregrass Georgia" There is question as to whether Richard or William is the father of Henry. " Volume 6 states Henry was born in Robeson County NC.  This is WRONG. (Huxford has made one bad error with regard to Richard Bennett, which was somewhat corrected in a later volume.  No one knows the ancestry of Richard, although there is an unsubstantiated and, I am certain, WRONG claim that Richard came from NC and decended from one Benjamin Bennett. Disregard any information about that.  "  This quote came from a reseacher (Jerry Bennett) who has done extensive research on the BENNETTS from Sourth Georgia. Richard is NOT from NC and was not the Richard from NC who was a Revolutionary War Soldier--even though a number of sources say he was.

Source: Pioneers Of Wiregrass GA Vol I page 16 gives his birth place and brothers' names.  Richard was a soldier in the Revolutionary War in North Carolina, serving under Capt. Thomas Clark, and was paid for his services Nov. 15, 1783.  Certificate No. 89843 was issued to him (see p.4 "Roster of Soldiers from North Carolina in the American Revolution"). There may be a connection between your Thomas Sadler and mine, although I am hunting dates and further information.  The following is what I have and I would be happy to share info. if I find more. My GGGGrandfather was a Thomas SADLER who went to Virginia in the mid 18thC.  He had two brothers, Henry and Featherstone (sp?), and a sister, Ella (Eleanor).  This Thomas married Martha ROSE, daughter of John ROSE, Sr, also of Brunswick Co., Va.  They had two children, William Rose SADLER (a civil engineer) and Lucey SADLER (my GGGGrandmother) who married Issac ALEXANDER on 17 April 1802 in Lincoln Co., NC.  Could your Thomas SADLER be the father of my Thomas? Any help would be appreciated.  Alice Riley

Greg: Great website and good information. I'm surprised that I can't find any connections to my clan(s) in your surnames since we hail from the some part of Georgia. My folks have been in Georgia on St. Simons Island and Cumberland Island since Oglethorpe brought them over! Others joined them from the Carolinas and then they spread out a little to a few other parts of southeast Georgia and Florida. My great grandfather's brother. Billie Spaulding, lived in the Okefenokee Swamp and is mentioned in a few of the older local histories. He was a bit of a character! And, my 3xs great grandmother was Harriet Chesser Copeland...her brother was Thomas Chesser of Chesser Island in the Swamp. So, I am really surprised I couldn't find a connection or two in your database. If you stumble across a Casey, Green, Copeland or Spaulding that you just can't get figured out, give me a holler.. I'm trying to get them traced a bit further back and perhaps we can help each other out. By the way, I see that you have a link to my Glynn County website and the 1783 Spanish Census I'm working on. But, the 1783 link isn't working for some reason. The correct link address is: www.ix.netcom.com/~petersnn/1783.html PS:, my uncle J.H. Spaudling is living in Hortense. If you happen by, give him by best! Susan

Mr. Wainright, Found your page today and couldn't believe someone had put so much information on Southeast Georgia genealogy online. I believe we're distant kin since we both share some of the Bennetts and Jacob Raulerson. We may share more, which is why I'm writing. I've bogged down on a Strickland. His name was Joseph. He married a Susan, possibly Highsmith in the late 1860s early 1870s. I know they had at least four children, George, John R. James L. and Martha Jane. Martha Jane married Willie Row Pearson and are my great-great-grandparents. If you or anyone else could help me figure out who Martha Jane's parents were exactly, I would greatly appreciate it. Dear Greg, A cousin of mine e-mailed me and mentioned that you had some genealogy information on the Wainwrights and the Stricklands. My grandmother was a Wainwright who married a Strickland. I have been searching for genealogical information for quite a time, and have found very little. Any information you can share would be most appreciated. My name is Crista Darby, and my grandmother is Minnie Wainwright Strickland. My grandmother grew up around Nahunta, GA. Her father was Edward Dolphus Wainwright, and her mother was Sarrah Janee Strain. My grandfather was Lewis Clinton Strickland, son of Roan Strickland and Nancy Jane Bennett. Hi Greg Just wanted to let you know how much I have been enjoying your Web site. I met you and your wife briefly at the Henderson reunion at Obediah's Park this Oct. Carl O'Neal is my brother. I did not realize how closely related we were until I looked at your web site. It was really neat seeing the picture of my mother{Ruth Henderson} and the rest of the family and sharing it with my children. I've never seen pictures that I remember of James Monroe and Nancy. I'm getting hooked. Great job. What a legacy to leave your children. Thanks.
