Testing HBemu 0800 on a Humax 5400 with HIC10110p
SW in it , i think
HIC10108p would work too.
It has to be a "p" version of the hummi SW as HBEMU uses the ALLCAM
features.
During this testing i had my Aston & Viacam out of the box , also i only
spend about 40 mins on this so it's not gonna
be a comprehensive document.
1: Install HBEMU on PC
2: Check/Replace keys in the .txt file
3: Start up HBEMU and configure the comport settings (just once), i used
the defaults for Irdeto on my 5400.
4: It allways starts up in Irdeto so depress the AutoEMM button (The key in
the top left) , and now u can select the providers in the
scrollbox.
The last 2 providers are SecaEmu & ViaEmu , select
those when u wanna
see Seca or Viaccess programs.
5: Pull the Logdetail bar all the way down , to provide max logging details.
6: Pull out the Season & Reinsert it to send a new ATR to the CAM.
I found that sometimes it seemed like i had to do a
real power down of
the hummi on the switch in the back , but it might have
been enough with a standby.
The log window has to log a lot of lines fefore the ATR
is ok , not
just one line.
I had to fiddle a lot with the season in order to get
it to do the ATR
correct , it's as my Season and the 5400-Cam doesn't fit 100%
I had to seat it approx. 1. mm from hitting the bottomn
of the Cam.
7: If sucessfull u'll see the ATR and a lot of provider lines in the log
window.
Then choose a channel and u should see activity in the
logwindow , if
no activity dont vive up try another channel.
It does work on some of the channels :-)
VI*C**S:
I had to put new keys in for Viasat Nordic
Do it before the ATR fiddeling , or u'll have to do that again as i couldnt
find any way of getting it to read the keys other than on program start.
I watched TV1K + CI**MA + HAL*M**K
Had no luck til either of the TV3's (proggie said bad hash) , 3+ didnt log
anything at all.
Mul**Vi**on logged something but i don't think the provider is in the .txt
file , didn't check.
S**A:
I could watch KI**Q*E and A*SAT and X-ZO*E , i had no luch with T*Q*I'LA
but didn't check any Seca Keys.
The conclution is:
HBEMU works with some quirks on VI*C**S & S**A and is worth a try if u dont
have Cams for those 2 systems.
But don't expect it to be 100% and u'll prob hate getting it to do the
ATR's correctly
