How to update the software in my Humax 5350 with patched software ?

Use the program WDN40AK and a ”null” modem cable. Please consult ”Humax help”  

You can also download commersial software from the satellite.

Press MUTE and 3 and wait until you can enter the password. When the Humax is ready to accept the password , then enter 7175

Viasat has taken the first 500 channels. Can I change this ?

No, you cannot change this, but you will be able to make 4 different favorite lists. These can be activated by pressing OK and then pressing the BLUE button, until you are at the desired list. Press the YELLOW button to return to normal.
