Dear 44th President of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama, with great admiration and indescribable happiness, I want to congratulate you for your great success given by God.
Your clear, truthful message to the American people and world, contrary to false promises and beyond expectations fulfilled, contrasted sharply to other presidential candidates inaugurated. Your clearly identifying the serious problems, challenges, even of course, reverses (no man or government is perfect). Gave your administration a sober start of realistically what can be done, changed and fix the best we can possible the truly puzzling difficulties.
It would be of great disservice not to commend the other side of Senator John McCain we saw last night in his speech acknowledging your triumph, putting the country's interest first, transcending all divisive bipartisan politics and willingness to cooperate with your administration.
Senator McCain in putting his country's interest first, was under enemy captivity for a determined period, reminded me also I was in captivity illegally detained in Bradenton, Florida. Fighting for my own freedom in my own country of birth, USA Canal Zone jurisdiction where both the senator and I was born.
While justly fighting for my freedom I often asked my captors "what's the difference between me and Senator John McCain? We both were born in the USA Canal Zone." My captors joked, "yeah, we know, you are a great John McCain fan."
God Bless you Mr. President, may He guide you and illuminate you in this great leadership he has bestowed to you.
