The Fire of Pain
Pain.
An unwelcome, unwanted feeling.
Pain is like a fire,
It runs across your whole body,
Devouring anything in its path.
But when it’s all over,
It’s time for a renewing.
Renew your mind.
Renew your thoughts.
Change hurts.
It can be frustrating.
If you never give up,
The pain will never consume you.
To be consumed,
Is to be condemned.
You never realize how much it hurts,
Unless you are there.
If it doesn’t hurt do you know its working?
But like a fire,
Pain doesn’t last.
It comes and goes.
Leave the victims horrified and lost.
But hope is always found after a fire.
Hope of starting over.
Pain is the same way.
