Chained
A child is chained to a bed,
Without being able to move she sits and cries.
Her possessors come to take her over,
In order to finish the battle to kill her.
Out of no where,
Comes a voice like thunder.
It says "Let her go
She belongs to Me."
With those words, the chains are released,
And the child stands up.
She looks around to see why she was let go.
Standing in the middle of the room not 5 feet from her,
Stands the one and only Savior.
She reaches out with her hands, but cannot reach.
Without knowing how to get to Him,
She sits back down.
With that opportunity,
Her possessors return her to chains.
The child begins to kick and fight.
Without any true knowledge,
She cries out to the man standing in the room.
He says with a voice like thunder:
"Let her go. She belongs to Me."
Again, with those words,
The chains were released.
Again she stood, reaching.
She still couldn't reach the Savior.
So again she sat down,
And again the chains were returned.
Again the child kicks and screams,
But this time instead of the man saying anything,
Two other people appear and proclaim,
"Let her go. She belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ."
This time when the chains were released and she stood up,
There were two people there to help her take her one step.
The child took the step and fell into the Savior's arms.
Knowing that they lost,
The possessors left only to return stronger and more in number.
Knowing what would happen,
The child began to learn how to do combat against them.
The future is yet unclear,
But the child is living in Jesus Christ right now.
That is something to praise and rejoice.
