WILLIAMS
Mrs. Charles L. WILLIAMS, died Sunday at her home, 912 4th Avenue, in Rock Island aged 50 years 9 months 26 days. She was born in St. Louis and came to Rock Island with her husband and family in September, 1885. Her maiden name was Miss Cora E. ROBERTS and she was married on 8 April 1873 at Bunker Hill (Macoupin Co, ) Illinois. She was a member of the 1st Baptist church. She is survived by her husband, one son, Jesse L. WILLIAMS and by 2 daughters - Mrs. Bertha CHANNON and Miss Madie A. WILLIAMS, all of Rock Island. She also leaves 3 sisters - Mrs. Lizzie ATCHISON of Gillispie, Illinois; Mrs. Lennis WORTZ of Louisville, Kentucky; and Mrs. Ida UNDERDONK of Columbus Junction Iowa, She is also survived by 3 brothers, one of whom is Walter W. ROBERTS of Davenport Iowa. ( Thursday June 29, 1905 )

M.W. WILLEY, died Sunday at his home, 526 16th Street, Rock Island. aged 40 years 8 months, 4 days. He was a member of the Christian Church. ( Thursday June 29, 1905 )
WELCH
Cornelius WELCH, a veteran resident of Moline, died Sunday at the city hospital. He settle here in 1853, coming from his native Ireland and for the first year, lived on the gov't Island. He then moved onto the bluff in Moline on 15th Street between 15th - 16th Avenues. Charles WAHLBERG now living there. WELCH was a plasterer. He is survived by his widow and 6 children - James, John and Neal WELCH, Mrs. Edward HANNIGAN of Omaha, Nabraska; Mrs. Mary SCHELL and Mrs. Anna MATTHEWS  of Moline. Irene, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John WELCH of 1525 19th Street, died Friday. Mrs. WELCH's mother also recently died as did the father of Mr. WALCH who was buried February 28th. ( Friday March 10, 1905 ). Moline Review Dispatch )

Mrs. WREATH, died March 13th at her home in Coe, aged 87ys. 2m, 18ds. The funeral was Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church. ( Friday March 20, 1891)
WENDT
Miss Annie WENDT, daughter of Charles WENDT, died recently, aged 20 years. Burial will be in Davenport Iowa. Mrs. Aggie LONG of LeClaire is her sister. ( Friday March 6, 1891 )
WAINWRIGHT
A daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Alf WAINWRIGHT died New Years's Eve, aged 8 months. The funeral was Friday at the Zuma Church.
WALKER
Samuel F. WALKER, died near Eastman, Wisconsin on December 18, 1890, the day before the death of his father, Hiram WALKER. Samuel was aged 55y, 9m, 26d. ( Friday Dec 26, 1890 )
WALKER
Hiram WALKER, was born in Barren Co, Kentucky on July 7, 1806 where he lived until 1819 when he came to Wayne Co, Illinois. In 1830 he married Jane H. FARRIS, who died March 1, 1835. He had 3 sons by this marriage - George of Joslin being the only survivor. In August 1835 he came to Rock Island where he married Mary Ennis, who survives. They had 9 children, of whom 6 survive - James in Zuma; Marion in Iowa; Mrs. Feaster in Nebraska; Mrs. MATTHEWS in Texas; Mrs. FILBERT in Zuma, and Mrs. ALSBROW in Port Byron. The funeral was last Sunday at the Zuma Church. He died December 19th at his residence in Zuma twp. aged 84ys. 5m, 12ds. ( Friday Dec 26, 1890 )

Mrs. A.E. CAIN WOOD, died Saturday, aged 59 years, 1m, 27ds,. She was born in Ohio on Sept 15, 1831 and spent most of her life in LeClaire Iowa, and Sharon Illinois, She is survived by her aged parents, and 5 childrens - 2 boys and 3 girls; also by 3 brothers and 3 sisters ( one of whom is Mrs. Ed HBBARD of Utica, Nebraka). She was a member of the M.E. Church. ( Friday Nov 21, 1890 )

William WHITE, a young man in the employ of Mr. WARNER on the Island, died suddenly yesterday afternoon. (Wednesday Aug 9, 1854 ).

WALKER
Martin WALKER, brother of Rufus WALKER Sr., died Friday at his home in Reynolds aged nearly 80 years. Since his wife died, he has lived partly in partly in Williamstown, Vermont, his birthplace where his twin brother Ennis is still living). The deceased was last engaged in the lumber business in Reynolds. Burial will be at Williamstown, Vermont. ( Review Dispatch, Nov 3rd)
WARREN
John P. "Jack" WARREN, the janitor of the Industrial Home Building died this week at St. Anthony's hospital in Rock Island. He was born 7 July 1850 in Ireland and with his parents came to this country when he was 6 months ( 7 years ) old. His folks located at Newberryport, Massachusetts and afterwards, lived at Aterwards, lived at Athol, Mass. In 1880, he came to this city and has lived here since. He was a molder by trade. He was a member of Co F. , Ills National Guard and had served with the volunteer fire dept for many years. He is survived by his widow (Margaret), a brother Michael of Nashua (Washua), N.H.; by 3 married sisters - Mary of Lowell, Mass; Julia of Athol, Mass; and Margaret of Portland, Maine. The funeral will be at St. Mary's Church of which he was a member, Saturday, with burial in the Catholic cemetery in East Moline. ( Thursday, June 22, 1905, Moline Weekly Journal )

WEAVER
Mrs. E.H.WEAVER, died Tuesday at the family home in Sears. She was born June 7, 1867 and married Joseph BUSCH in October 1875. He died a few years ago. She married E.H. WEAVER on January 6, 1904 and they had 1 child - Alnora. By her former husband, she leaves these children: Maerie, Goldie, Susie and James. The funeral was Wednesday with burial in the Dickson Cemetery.
