FORMER RESIDENT OF BIG ISLAND DIES Mrs. Ray R. Robison Is Taken by Death in Milwaukee Hospital. Mrs. Ray R. Robinson of Milwaukee, Wis., former resident of Rock Island, died at 4:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon in a Milwaukee hospital, following a week's illness of pneumonia. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Knox funeral chapel, Rock Island, with Rev. F.J. Rolf, pastor of the Evangelical Church of Peace, officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery at Andalusia, ILL. Mrs. Robinson was born in Andalusia, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Seefeldt. Her maiden name was Myrtle Seefeldt. She was educated in the Andalusia school and was graduated from Rock Island school with the class of 1922. In 1926 she was married to Ray R. Robinson in Rock Island. She was a member of Milan chapter No. 326, Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving besides the widower and parents are three sisters, Mrs. Emma Eick, Mrs. Julia Heber and Miss Henrietta Seefeldt, all of Big Island, and a brother, Roy R. Seefeldt of Rock Island.


Services for Harry Reschly, are 1 p.m. Monday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial is in National Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may go to the family. Mr. Reschly died Wednesday, March 8, 2000, at River Park Health Care Center, Rock Island. He was born June 5, 1927 in Washington, Iowa. He married Louise Miller in 1946. She died in 1994. Survivors include children, Margaret DeBoer, Little Rock, Ark., Ron, Billy, Scott and Randy Reschly, all of Rock Island, Gary Miller, Iowa City; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Shaffer, Richmond, Mo.


Louise E. Reschly, 74, of 640 43rd St., Rock Island, died Tuesday, Nov 1, 1994, at Vencore Hospital, Sycamore, Ill. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Salvation Army Heritage Temple, Moline, where she was a member for over 30 years. Burial is in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the temple. A memorial fund has been established. Knox-larson Funeral Home, Rock Island, is in charge of arrangements. The former Louise E. Miller was born Oct 25, 1920, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Margaret Fritz Miller. She married Harry M. Reschly Nov 4, 1948, in Davenport. She babysat for different families in the Quad-City area. She was active in the Women's Home League, the League of Mercy and volunteer services including the commodities and Share program all at the Salvation Army. She enjoyed bingo. Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Margaret Ann DeBoar, in Missouri; sons Gary Miller, Iowa City, Ricky, Ron, Billy and Scott Reschly, all of Rock Island, and Randy Reschly, Dixon; five grandchildren; a sister, May Earl, and a brother, George Miller, both of Washington, Iowa.

Walter E. "Happy" RATHBUN, died last Sunday at Moline Public Hostital. He was born May 26, 1883 in Cable, a son of Elihu and Mary A. GILMORE RATHBUN. When he was 20 he went into the implement and hardware business with his father in the McShane building in Milan.
He was a bachelor and lived with his sister. Miss Mae RATHBUN at 437 W. Second Ave. Milan. (June 25, 1953  Milan IND)
