JOHNSON
Jonas M. JOHNSON, died Friday at St. Anthony's hospital in Rock Island aged 78 years. He had resided in Rock Island for serveral years, making his home with his son, C.A. JOHNSON on 4th Street and 10th Ave. He had earlier slipped and fallen on the ice. He was a native of Sweden and leaves 2 sons: C.A. JOHNSON of Rock Island and John G. JOHNSON of North Henderson, Iowa and a daughter, Mrs. Oscar BJANK of Washington, Iowa. ( Moline Weekly Journal, June 22, 1905 )
JOHNSON
Spencer L. JOHNSON, died (June 23rd ) at the home of his mother, Mrs. Samuel JOHNSON of 527 13th Street (age 18 years). He was born 24 July 1887, in the same house where he died and went through the schools of the city. His father and his brother George both died in the same house in 1902. He is survived by his mother and 3 sisters - Mrs. Adolph ERICKSON, Mrs. Ebba and Miss Deborah JOHNSON of this city. The funeral will be Saturday with burial in Moline's Riverside Cemetery. George JOHNSON, 22 year old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman JOHNSON living at Coaltown, died June 8th after suffering from burns. He was born in Sept, 1882 in Moline and is survived by his parents, one brother and by 5 sisters. The family lived on 24th Ave, near 15th Street until they removed to a farm near Coaltown about 10 years ago. (Moline Weekly Journal June 15, 1905 )

Charles Alfred JOHNSON of 1715 10th Street died this week (Sunday ). He was born 6 April 1877 in Swedberg, Iowa but spent most of his life in Moline. He is survived by 2 brothers and 1 sisters. (Moline Weekly Journal June 8, 1905 )

Emma Matilda, wife of Emil JOHNSON, died last Thursday at her home, 1115 13th Ave. aged 30 years. She was born 14 February 1876 in this city and spent her entire life here. She was married here; her husband survives along with one son Lowell aged 6 years. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Margaret CARLSON and by a brother Carl CARLSON, both of this city. She was educted in the Moline public schools. ( Moline Weekly Journal Oct 19, 1905 )

JOHNSON
Louis JOHNSON, died Wednesday at his home in Milan. He was born in Sweden in 1856 and came to this country as a young man. For a number of years, he worked for the Rock Island Plow works. He later moved to Milan and opened a fish market. He is survived by his wife and by 1 son. The furneral was Thursday with burial in the Dickson Cemetery. ( Milan IND, Thursday, July 2, 1903 )
