Julia Seefeldt Heber
, 89 of 2113 34th Ave. Rock Island, died Monday at her home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Knox Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Milan, or a favorite charity. The former Julia Seefeldt was born May 20, 1897, Andalusia, daughter of Theodore and Lucy Einfeldt Seefeldt. She married George Heber on Dec. 12, 1917 in Rock Island. He died in 1982. Surviving are a daughter, Helen Anderson of Rock Island; two sons, Glen of Alexi, and Gene of Rock Island; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
HARRIS
George HARRIS Jr., son of Mr. George W. HARRIS, one of the early settlers of this place, accidentally shot himself last Thursday near Andalusia. George was about 21 years old. His funeral will be Sunday.

Died on the 3rd in Davenport Iowa, Mrs. Sarah J. HERRICK , consort of Wm. HERRICK of Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. HERRICK has recently been known in our community as the projector and builder of the Gas works.

HOLLISTER
Mrs. A.F. (Rebecca ) HOLLISTER, died at her home in pPory Byron, (last Saturday) aged about 65 years. She had been a resident of the upper end of the county for many years. She moved to Port Byron from a farm in Coe several years ago. She is survived by her husband and 5 children: Fred HOLLISTER residing on the home farm (near Port Byron); Ed HOLLISTER of Kansas; Mrs. Ed BARRETT of Chicago; Mrs. BOARDMAN of Port Byron; and Mrs. GOLDEN of Kansas. Her maiden name was REED and both her own and her husband's families were early settlers. ( Moline Review Dispatch of September 29th that same year.)

Frank HELLSTROM, of Cable Mercer County was killed Thursday while at work in the mines at Sherrard. He was married and leaves several children. ( Thursday Sept 7, 1905)

HEBER
Michael HEBER, 88, Big Island, died. He was born in Alberhausen by Goppingen, Wurtenburg, Germany on March 9, 1862. He came to this country in 1887 settling on Big Island in 1904. He married Anna BARBARA STAHLE, Nov 26, 1889. They were the parents of Gabriel, Hugo R. and George. ( Rock Island Argus, July 6, 1950 )

J. George HOEFLE, 77, native of Rural Township and resident of Milan the past 24years, died He was born Feb 23, 1870, a son of John G. and Mary BECK HOEFLE. He married Elizabeth A. MONTGOMERY Oct 28, 1897. She died Sept 1, 1945. He was a member of the Beulah Presbyterian Church. Survivng are sons, Guy L. of Rock Island and Lester J. of Milan, Mrs. Ella E. BICKEL of Milan, a daughter, and a sister Mrs. Catherine VANDERSLICE of Davenport. (Milan IND, Oct 1947 )

Joseph HUYETT, M.D., born Sept 11, 1820 and died Oct 6, 1905, married Sept 10, 1844, Harriett Lydia ADAMS, daughter of Judge ADAMS of Williamsburg, Pennsylvania, died April 20, 1898.

Mrs. Mary M. HARRIS, an old resident of Henry Co, died Wednesday at her home in Kewanee. She was the mother of C.H.HARRIS of Milan. She was born July 7, 1822; burial was Saturday at the family home. (Milan IND, Thursday, June 5, 1902 )
HARRINGTON
Mrs. Florence Maude HARRINGTON, sister of E.L. RHODADARMER, died August 21st at her home in Decatur, ILL. She is survived by her husband and a baby aged 51/2 ms. She was born in Iowa City, Iowa and grew up there. On Oct 10, 1894 she married J.C.F.HARRINGTON and for the next 2 years, they lived there in Iowa City. Her husband is now a jeweler in Decatur. Burial was in the Iowa City Cemetery. (Milan IND, Thursday, August 28, 1902 )
HINDERER
John G. HINDERER, died Monday while on a fishing trip in the river. He was born in Germany in 1839 and came to Milan in 1871. He is survived by his wife Barbara and 3 children - George, Bertha, and Mildred all living at home. The funeral was Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church with burial in the Chippianmock Cemtery in Rock Island. (Milan IND, Thursday, August 28, 1902 )
HUTCHINSON
R. HUTCHINSON of Bowling twp. died Friday. He was born in Ireland on August 7, 1831 and has resided in Bowling since 1847. He was a member of the Episcopal Church. He is survived by a son, Robert Henry; by one brother and by several sisters. The funeral was Sunday from Grace Episcopal Church. ( Milan IND, Thursday, Sept 18, 1902 )

HUYETT
Dr. Joseph HUYETT, died October 6th in Milan, He was born in Huntington County near the town of Alexandria, Pennsylvania on a farm, on September 11, 1820. He was the youngest of a large family, all of who are dec'd except for a sister, Mrs. Cathrine PATTON of Washington DC. The dec'd was first a store clerk and then entered Jefferson Medical School in Philadelphia and graduated in 1843.
In 1844, after beginning a practice at Williamsburg, Pennsylvania, he married Miss Harriet L., daughter of Judge Joseph ADAMS of Williamsburg. They came to Illinios in 1848 and at first lived on the goverment Island. The following spring, they came to Camden Mills (now Milan), living in the house on Dickson Street opposite what is known as the Bradley place, until 1872, when he built the home where he has lived for the last 33 years. They were the parents of 7 children, 5 of whom survive: Mrs. Mary C. MOORHEAD Monmouth, Warren County; Mrs. Elizabeth G. SEARS of Milan; Mrs. Anna A. CRISSWELL of Joy; Mrs. Clara A. SYDNOR who has lived on the home place for the last 5 years; and Dr. Joseph Herman HUYETT of Rock Island. Mrs. HUYETT died April, 1898. There are 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The deceased was a Civil War veteran, serving as a surgeon with the 93rd Ills Infantry. The funeral was Monday with burial in the Chippiannock Cemetery in Rock Island. His 3 sons-in-law were Geo. W. SEARS, Dr. Matthew CRISSWELL, and Geo. R. SYDNOR. 2 grandsons are Dr. W.W.MOORHEAD of Aledo and Jos.H. MOORHEAD of Milan. His nephew is Jos. A. McLAUGHLIN of Geneseo, Henry County. George H. ADAMS of Latrobe, Pennsylvania is his nephew.
HEVERLING
Carrie HEVERLING, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William HEVERLING, died Tuesday at the famliy home in Milan aged 1 year, 3 weeks. The funeral was Thursday with burial in the Dickson burial grounds.

Mrs. Emily HAYES, died Saturday at the county infirmary. She was born in Massachusetts in 1833 and settled in Milan aged about 25 years ago. The funeral was Monday at the home of Geo. GRIFFIN in Milan, with burial in the Dickson Cemetery. ( Thursday, October 20, 1904 )
