Henry R. ALBRECHT, died Saturday at the HARTZELL home near Watertown. The funeral was Sunday at his home on 6th Avenue and 25th St. with burial in "the HARTZELL Cemetery at Watertown". He was born in  June ( on 27 August) 1848 at LeClaire, Iowa - son of Joseph ALBRECHT who died suddenly last January at his home near Watertown. When Henry was a boy, the family came to Watertown to make their home. He was first married at Delavan, Illinois ( in 1874 ) to Sarah Wolf who died in 1876. They had one son, Harry; he survives, living at Delavan. In 1877, Mr. ALBRECHT married (Miss) Luella PALMER daughter of Mrs. John M. HARTZELL of Watertown; she survives along with 2 childen - Stephen of Northwood, Iowa and Blanche at home. One daughter, Maude, died in 1893. The deceased lived in Indiana for 1 year and retured here in 1890 when he went into the grocery business. His store was on 25th St. adjoining his residence. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. George BOTHELL of Corning, Iowa and by 3 half brothers- Samuel ALBRECHT of southern Illinois; Joseph ALBRECHT of California; and John ALBRECHT of Watertown and by a half-sister, Carrie ALBRECHT and his step- mother, Mrs Sarah ALBRECHT of Watertown. The funeral was Monday with burial in the Watertown Cemetery. His mother-in-law is Mrs. John M. HARTZELL and Charles PALMER of near Watertown is his brother-in-law. He was aged 57 years. Ex-alderman John ATKINSON died Thursday (June 1st) at his home, 2935 13th Avenue, Rock Island aged 65 years, 7 months, 14 days. He was from the 6th ward. He had worked as an engineer at the Waterworks. He had been a resident of Rock Island for 41 years, coming there from his native town, Toronto, Canada where he was born October 19, 1839. He was married there to Mary O'BRIEN on December 9, 1863 and shortly after in 1864, they came to Rock Island. He was a brickmaker by trade. He is survived by his wife, 4 brothers - George ATKINSON of Topeka, Kansas; Christopher ATKINSON of Rock Island; Thomas ATKINSON of Davenport, Iowa; and Robert ATKINSON of Peoria. Also by 3 sisters, Mrs. Fannie BURNSTON of San Fransico, California; Mrs. M.A.SAMPLE of Rock Island; and Mrs. Eliza ALLISON of Louisville, Kentucky and by one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Minnie) TRACY of Battle Creek, Michigan. George O. AMHOF, aged 19 years was killed by lightning in Lincoln twp. Scott Co, Iowa on Thursday. He was working in a cornfield with his brother Rudolph.

William ADAMS, died Friday at his home in Bowling twp, this county, aged 69 years. He was born in Belfast, Ireland and had been a resident of this county for 40 years. He was formerly employed as a ship carpenter on the Spencer ferry. He is survived by his wife, one son- William of Iowa; and by 2 stepsons; Robert WILLIAM of Rock Island and Richard Williams of North Platte, Nebraska; also by 2 step-daughters; Mrs. George TRENKENSCHUH of Rock Island and Mrs. J.C. ADERSON of Chicago. Burial was in Rock Island's Chippiannock Cemetery. ( Thursday June 29, 1905)

Amanda J. ANDERSON, died Monday at her home, 1840 12th Street. She was born 17 April 1884 in Rock Island and had lived in thsi city for 14 years. The funeral was Wednesday. Miss Amanda G. ANDERSON was a member of the Swedish Lutheran Church. She had resided all her life in Moline and Rock Island. She is survived by her mother, 3 brothers - Oscar, Hugo and David and by a sister Alice. Myrtle Allison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William ALLISON living southwest of Carbon Cliff, south of the Colona Road, died October 26, aged 11 years. burial was at Bowlesburg on October 27th.

Mrs. Louise ANDERSON, died Tuesday. She was born Dec 12, 1843 in Sweden and came to America 24 years ago, settling with her husband in this city. Her husband died 10 years ago last New Year's Day. The funeral of Mrs. Clara ANDERSON, was at the residence of her son Gust ANDERSON on 45th Street with burial in Moline's Riverside Cemetery Friday Nov 10th, 1905. Mrs. Clara ANDERSON died Wednesday at the home of her son, Gust ANDERSON, on 44th Street east of the city, aged 70 years. She was born in Sweden and came here in 1888. Her husband died 8 years ago and since then, she has lived with her sons. 5 sons and 1 daughter are married, who still reside in Sweden, all survive. Mrs. Erna A. Allison, 85 of rural Aledo, died Wednesday at Mercer County Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Larson Funeral Home, Milan. The Rev. Jack Holloway, paster of Trinity United Methodist Church, Milan, will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The former Erna Seefeldt was born Nov. 18, 1898, in Rosholt, S.D., the daughter of Fred and Pauline Labode Seefeldt. She had lived in the Quad-City area since 1930, in Milan for 27 years, and in Aledo for the past seven years. She was married to William B. Allison Dec. 18, 1917, in Wheaton, Minn. He died March 19, 1967. Mrs. Allison was a member of the East End Club of Moline. Surviving are a son, Clarence W. of Aledo, two daughters, Mrs. Emma Jean Bethurem of New Port Richey, Fla., and Mrs. Pauline Ptasink of Spring Hill, Fla. ; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Paul of Fairmount, N.D., Orin of Rosholt, Reinhart of Iowa City, Freddie of Sissiton, S.D., and Reuben of Rock Island, and a sister, Mrs. Esther Billinger of Alsip, ILL.

She is survived by her husband, her mother, and stepfather - Mr. and Mrs. John A. HOKANSON; by 2 sisters - Mrs. David JOHNSTON of near Reynolds and Miss Manda NELSON at home; by 2 brothers - Henry NELSON of Blackhawk and Herbert HOKANSON at home. She was born Florence NELSON on 18 July 1873 and married Warren ANDERSON of Rock Island on June 12 1896. They had 1 child who died in infancy. Burial was in Rock Island's Chippiannock Cemetery. Edna Louise ANDERSON, died Monday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John ANDERSON is south Rock Island. She was born 22 January 1883 in Rock Island and had resided on Vandruff's Island and in Milan most of her life. She graduated from Rock Island High school in 1902 and studied at the Illinois Normal school at DeKalb. She taught for 2 years at the South Heights school and then at the Garfield school in Moline. She is survived by her parents, 3 sisters and 3 brothers; Ruth, Grace, Hazel, Ralph, Everett, and Spencer. The funeral was Wednesday. ( Thursday Nov 15, 1906 ) Milan Weekly IND

Isaac N. AILES, died Wednesday at his home opposite the tollgate, aged 81 years. The funeral was today with burial in the Dickson Cemetery. (Milan IND, April 2, 1903)

Elijah K. Ailes, died Sunday at his home in Milan aged 72 years. He was born January 30, 1832 and was a Civil War veteran, serving with Company C., 6th Iowa. He married Mrs. Lucy JAMES in Davenport, Iowa in 1866; she survives along with a setpson, Hons JAMES and an adopted son, Mearl McCullough. The funeral was Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church with burial in the Dickson Cemetery.

Oscar ANDERSON, died Saturday at the home of John PALMER, aged 56 years. He came to this country from Sewden about 33 years ago. He has 5 brothers living in Sweden. He has never married and has worked for various farmers in this vicinity ever since coming to this country. The funeral was Sunday with burial in the Dickson Cemetery ( Milan IND, Thursday, June 25, 1903 )
