My Horses
Unfortunately, I do not own a horse. But, I do lease and show horses. Here is a little about the horses I have leased.
  This is a picture of the horse I used to lease. Her name is Geamet. She is an Arabian. I rode her at horse shows and we won a first place! She did wonderful in the show ring!  In the picture, we are at the State Fair. Geamet was the first horse I fell off of. She gave me courage to become a better rider. Everyone loved Geamet. . Even though she could be stuborn at times, she was the perfect pony. She was very fun to ride and spend time with.  Sadly, Geamet passed away about two years ago. She will always be in my heart.
  This is Otto. He is the horse I am currently leasing (2005). I leased him last year too. Otto is an Oldenburg. He is about 16hh! Otto and I do not do too well in the show ring. He stands out a lot. He prances when he trots. We sometimes get the wrong leads when we canter, but we try our best and have fun.
    When I first started riding Otto, he was extremely underweight. His previous owners could not keep weight on him. My horseback riding teacher finaly got him fattened up. It was a lot of hard work! Otto is a spoiled horse and you have to treat him just right. He can't stay in a stall or he will loose weight. In the summer, he can't be in the sun too long. He loves the cold weather! He has to eat a lot of hay.
   Otto may be a very large horse, but he can be a big baby! He is scared of a lot of things. He shies at everything. He is a very loving horse who loves treats and has a cute personality.
