walk with me down memory lane to the not so distant past when there were articles almost daily about companies closing down, laying off, going bankrupt, downsizing, right-sizing... or whatever else they want to call it. here in GR where i live and in KZO where i used to live it was and still is a bleak situation that grows ever more dismal. the state where i live is always among the the top five in unemployement rates. one of the worst in the nation. now then, turn on any news channel at any time day or night and you can still hear the reports about the tsunami destroyed region of the world. close to 200,000 people dead. their homes, gone. their lives, shattered. it was a terrible day. i do have compassion for these people an their tremenous loss.
on the other hand, however, how far can the GWB gang spread the american dollar? we are at an all time high deficit. we are fighting (LOSING??) war in not one, but two foreign nations with no exit strategy on the horizon, the leading ass of the free world announced that he has ideals for taking freedom and democracy to the rest of the "axis of evil" defined as Syria, N. Korea, Iran, and anyone or anywhere else that dares to live differently than this frat boy thinks is best.
here at home he talks of cutting Medicaid, he can't get a social security plan off the ground and the only successful thing he's done in 4 years and 2 days now is take credit for the capture of one "murderous Bathe-ist dictator".
the baboon in the white house has agreed to allow canadian cattle back across our borders even though they continue to test positive for mad cow,
if the american people continue to lost jobs, have no medical benefits, have no income AND the government continues to send billions overseas to "help out" the world's poor, PLUS make new wars, new, unnecessary wars, we will eventually be JUST LIKE THE POOR PEOPLE TO WHOM WE ARE SENDING BILLIONS!
First, why do men insist on digging up every single detail from the past? Who have you slept with? what was he like, how does he compare to me. oh please... us ladies dont think about the men in our past and it is IN THE PAST!!!!! leave it there. that's like dragging the trash back into the house after it sits out there over the weekend waiting for the garbage pick up on monday.....
