| "She Knew" She knew Christ as her Saviour, She knew him as her friend. She knew that when she left this world, She'd be free of mortal sin. For she was washed in the blood of Jesus, The day that she was saved. She gave her heart unto the Lord. And her sins was washed away. She knew him as the Master, She knew him as the King. She knew the day she found Jesus, She found her everything. She knew her Father listened, Everytime she prayed. So she simply asked Jesus, To take her pain away. But God knew she had suffered for so very long. So he sent down his Angels to bring his child back home. And now I know she's happy, Because I do believe. That like that beautiful sparrow, Jesus set her free. So wipe away your tears, And please don't shead no more, For Mama's walking with the angels now. On God's Heavenly shores ******************************* This poem was writen by me in the loving memory of my mother who I miss dearly. |
