Profiles of Courage -
Brock Eckman

3/02/03!
'Despite winning a slot in state and being the newly elected homecoming Prince, Brock retains his modesty'

Editors note: The Sasquatch Militia is proud to present it's first profile in courage. These profiles, aimed at giving Sasquatch Militia members credit for outstanding work and achievement in the quest for tolerance, will be published once a month, showcasing the best the Militia has to offer.

The last week has been a terribly delightful experience for Brock and the Sasquatch Militia. After battling his way to the state tournament and capturing the Title of Prince over 2 other Militia members, Brock was glad to return to his normal role, as Secretary of Love for the Sasquatch Militia.

Brock may be known as the premier talent in his weight class, or as the Homecoming Prince by some, but he is known by all as a faithful servant in the quest for tolerance and liberation of our Sasquatch brothers and sisters.

As soon as the State tournament was over, Brock immediately returned to Cascadia City, Cascadia to lead the Department of Love and Environmental affairs, because a crises over whether or not to release a group of convicted lumberjacks was in need of a solution.

Brock has been with the Militia since it's inception and has served the cause invaluably. When the Sasquatches of Iraq where being brutally tortured by the madman Saddam Hussein and his human goons. Brock volunteered, like a college freshmen from Tennessee, to travel to Iraq and personally liberate a prison that was being used to unlawfully torture and imprison Sasquatches and their allies.

But Brock doesen't wish to talk about it, he remains irritatingly modest and reverently pious to the cause of Sasquatch liberation. He wouldn't brag about the time that he liberated the orphanage from a conflagration or the momentous day when he sat atop the Lincoln Memorial and gave a speech called "I have a dream" about Sasquatch liberation and equality.

Brock's courage has been another asset to our Militia. When not battling heinous villians and pro-intolerance scoundrals on the mat during wrestling season, he whacks the intolerance off the tee during golf season.

Brock is the recepient of the March 2003 Profile of Courage Award, our first annual award, and will be given a certificate to honor his tremendously important advances in the quest for tolerance and his steadfast dedication to the quest for tolerance.

Brock's first match was,
to say the least, a disaster.
After being slotted to battle
the number 1 ranked wrestler
in state, Brock knew he was
in for one uphill battle. When
he saw his opponent, one thing
became clear - He would lose
and lose bad. But he kept his
head up and battled to the end
- 2 minutes later, after being
thrown around the mat and
nearly beaten to death by
the self-proclaimed Queen of
the mat, he was pinned by this
creature of the night.

Brock, Pictured in this 0ctober 2002
photoshoot along with the other
leaders of the Hiearchy, has been
a huge advocate for High School
wrestling integration.

"Why should Sasquatches be barred from
wrestling? It's just not fair. What do Humans have
to fear? Sasquatches would add hundreds of
new moves and improvements to the sport
as well as the creation of a super heavyweight
spot at 800 pounds."

Brock - November 2002 during an interview
with CBS late night host Craig Kilborne.

He hopes to see Sasquatches liberated
from the curse of wrestling being limited to exclusively limited to the Human species by
the year 2008.
