well the school started this year on the 18th of febuary..it was really buggin cuz the vacation was kinda short ...well it is always...the very first day..in the very first assembly...the principle , Fr.Viegas conveyed the school that this year the school woiuld be run under a strong bond of frienship,brotherhood and love ...no fights, no misunderstandings....well that 's what he said ...don't know if the guys ever got a word he spoke cuz the ver next day a fight broke out,and must also specify..during the 4 months untill the summers there was a total of 7 fight approx...so much for that sense of brotherhood shit.
this year not much activities in school....untill now there's just been 3 tournments .. and only one held at our school.no golden jubille this year..well i guess that was dicarded last year itself..but everyone of the guys miss it..indeed it was the greatest tournment ever in the whole of the district.there was the basketball tournment for boys on the 29th and 30th of april. one things for sure ..it was D most boring tournment ever. this year the schools were just the anglo indian schools....other schools like rockvale, himali..(now known as listed schools) weren't allowed to participate..the reasons unknown...instead they have their own tournment excluding the anglo indian schools. in the tournment there were SIX schools....namely SPS,SJS,GMS,DGH,MHSAND SAS.the tournment wasn't really exciting as the matches were too boring.our team team even thoough were'nt too good as expected but were a 100 times better than the others.lets us say our team was the best from the worst.we won all the matches and even the finals with MHS with ease...final score ;::: SAS 75...MHS 32.
Another tournament held was the inter anglo volley ball tournment ...ths sas team could'nt fair up in this tournament and came back home empty handed. the final tournament for the session was the inter isc basketball tournament held by MHS. the tournament was a greatest tragedy evar..just four schools and our school was one of them. the tournament was not held properly..as the schools wre short of refrees and officials. so the people didn't know the B of basketball were refs and the students themselves officials.not to forget the evil side of man always lingering around. well that 's what happened with our schools match with MHS..these guys weren't actually playing basket ball but they sure were into volley ball...instead of shooting and getting rebounds..they were just smashing balls all round the place and acting as if they were the king of the world after doing that." well way to go guys we have no regrets losing to u" our school lost SAS 29...MHS 35. the schools next match was was with SXS...well everyone regarded them as the best team but they were in for a shock when we lost to them by just 1 point.. SAS 35 SXS 36.
the tournments for the first seession ended with that...soon after which we had our 1st term exams...it was differenr from our last exams due to our jazzy question papers and answer scripts ..with our schooll logo on it.
lastly before the starting of a new session after the summer break...let me convey it to all the sasonians and ex sasonians that the principle Fr viegas has been replaced..he will not be in office after the summer break. he left sas on the 27th of may. his place will be taken by a new principle FR Lawrence d sousa who was in SAS before during 1992 ..and so on...as the hostel in charge...
