the hard rock fest 2002.....review..
the 26th of october....the long awaited rock show just took off with the amplifiers and the gadgets roaring out in the background. the show was organized by one of the senior citizen of town together with the band kakofony(sas). together with kakofony.....bands like roots (sas), friday (sumi) , and some untitled bands from sas ..took on the show....
the show had a real good crowd....and the bands weren't that bad either...the stage was first taken by the featuring band kakofony....they played some real good numbers like lithium, smells like teen spirit( nirvana) last resort(papa roach), hallowed be thy name(iron maiden), break stuff (limp bizkit), with arms wide open( creed )etc....the others did put up a good show too ....but many weren't really satisfied cuz it was meant to be hard rock fest....all that the other bands played was soft rock love numbers....anyways we did hear some good numbers from green day and ugly kid joe....bottom line was that the show would have been better..if the organizers would have cut short some guest bands and laid more stress on the featuring band,...anyways it was a good show and many appreciated it.
