ABOUT ME
Mother, Teacher, Student, Girl Scout Leader, Reader,
Swimmer, Baker, Skier!
I attended college in the 1970's for my BA in EL ED and

I decided to begin substituting 7 years ago, to get back
into the work force and back into teaching. I did lots of long term
assignments, like art, basic skills, 3rd grade, resource room, librarian, etc.
as well as day to day jobs. I started back part-time 4 years ago as the teacher
in a 2nd grade Resource Room - Special Ed - language arts and math. I took a
full-time job as a 4th grade self- contained classroom teacher last year. Currently, I am tutoring students in Language
Arts or Math privately.
After I had been back for that first part-time year, I
decided to go to Graduate School to update my skills. The Educational Technology program at New Jersey City University
