The SSC fitness program is designed for ANY soccer players aged 12 to 40, male or female at any skill level, who seek to improve their soccer performance. The program will benefit a wide range of participants, from young up-and-coming elite soccer athletes to recreational players discovering that they aren't quite as fit as they used to be back in their high school glory days. As recommended with any new fitness program, SSC encourages you to consult your family physician before beginning the SSC program.
WHY JOIN THE SSC PROGRAM?
In our busy lives, it can be difficult to start and stick with a personal fitness routine without guidance and motivation. We know that we should exercise regularly to gain the many physical benefits, but the will to work-out is often lost in in the shuffle of other daily responsibilities. We tend to put our physical fitness at the bottom of the to-do list unless there is something extra to push us forward.
SSC participants not only gain the advantage of fun, motivating and structured fitness sessions with an experienced and qualified instructor, but will also attain soccer-based fitness knowledge that they can take home and implement in their personal fitness routines.
SSC does not focus on specific soccer skills such as ball handling, shooting and passing. SSC focuses on improving physical fitness as an essential component of soccer performance.
CLASS SIZE LIMITED:
SSC can accomodate a maximum of 50 players per session. While many of the exercises and drills are done in groups, each participant will receive individual attention from the instructor. For example, the instructor will provide personalized fitness testing to determine the extent of each individual's improvement over the course of the program. Working out is always fun in the company of friends and teammates, so soccer teams are highly encouraged to join up as a group for cost savings.
