We bought the trailer thinking we would only need the 6 holes. Well then we added another 2 big ones at the front . Then that wasnt enough and we added another 4 on top. with room for the 2 sleds to slide the runners under the box for a nice wind reducing pull. This trailer pulls like a dream. We took it to a trailer place for a new axel ( single axel 3200 pound one), and he fixed up the frame to make it drive better. We have been threw some crazy snow with it and that axel saved us from getting stuck with just the old car axel. There is also room if you wanted to add a storage compartment to hang in the back or put in the front ( that is what we were going to do.)
