In this section I shall provide some of my fav L'arc~en~ciel songs. Although as I said before I like all of their songs. They are some I listen to more that others. Listening to L'arc has been a great experience and has opened me up to more j-rock bands and singers. Right now I really like Luna Sea and Dir en grey. It was quite fortunate that I decided to check out their music and discover how great rock from Japan is. I hope you like the songs I've selected. It was kinda hard, but here they are. Enjoy them! I like that part where he's "You treat me like a dog!" Ohhh what silly woman could do that to our Hyde?!? >.<# Heh anyway when listening to Hyde's voice on Dune cd you can definitely hear the difference then and now. But also the sound of the band has evovled over the years. A good old school Laruku song ^^ Love Flies This is probably my most recent fav, the first time I d/l-ed it I didn't like it much, but now that I listen to it I've come to love it. I think I didn't like it at first cuase the d/l isn't the best quality. Got to see the beginning of this vid, heh Hyde has a nice walk, hmm he's is short ^^ But his voice sounds great as usual in the song. Also I like the music in the end of the song, even when I didn't completely like the song I always liked the way it ended. Yet another Hyde song with references to nature ^^ Good Morning Hide This song is a song that Sakura wrote, from the title alone I'm sure many a yaoi fangirl has imagined things XD But if you read the lyrics you'd think he wrote it first in Japanese and did one of those direct literal translations becuase the sentence structure is out of wack @.@ But it's still a good song and the basic message gets across ne. Hyde composed the music for this song ^^ I think it's one of those songs that grow on you after a while. Once again we can use this song as an example to show Hyde's growth as an artist and his english pronounciation ^^ It was good practice for "Spirit Dreams Inside" and "Evergreen-Eng. ensemble" Flower YAY! Another one of those songs Hyde wrote with references to nature ^^ It's the fourth song off of True cd. "Flowers bloom in sunlight and I live close to you" Ahh if I lived close to Hyde *_* heh not that'd be stalking or anything ^^;; Well the one thing that stands out for me on this song is Hyde's voice *reader's say "Duh!"* Heh I like how Hyde pronounces stuff, yes that was random but anyway...can't think of much to say about this song except that it's really good so download it already *runs away* Special Angel's Tale Wai! Listen to a preview of Hyde's latest single. It's a very nice ballad, that's very relaxing and soothing. What are you waiting for download now! Enjoy ^^ Honey I listened to this song becuase my friend Firia recommened it. But I really liked this song when I saw a bit of the video for it. I mean the energy in the video was fast matching perfectly with the rythm of the guitars. Plus Hyde looked really good playing and singing with such passion. Plus I love the opening of the vid, it's like the first 20 seconds or so and the camera has this nice close up of Hyde singing, ahhh *melts* Makes you think of nice it'd be to touch his face and kiss him, ohh...This vid is like some type of afphrodisiac for me. Hmm I'm such a hentai, ahh me and Ken-chan would get along. Anemone Awww Megumi is sooo lucky this song is so beautiful, I mean the lyrics and the music in it are soo amazing. He worte this song for her too. Means "I love you." Ahhh Hyde-sama we love you! But it was hard for me to listen to this song at first cuase of the whole Megumi connection, but it's one of the best jrock ballads I've heard. Hyde's voice sounds really loving and sincere in it. Ohhh Megumi-chan you lucky woman >.< Niji Ohh I love the video for that song. Hyde looks really really awesome in it. Hmm make me wish I was his mic sometimes, ohhohoohoho. Ahhh anyway, to me this song has a nice dark atmosphere, the music which was composed by Ken sounds very different to me from any other L'arc songs that I've heard. The video reminds of a Samuel Bayer type vid, mixed with some Marilyn Manson elements in there. I heard Hyde likes Marilyn Manson. Plus this song is the opening theme for Rurouni Kenshin OVA. Ahhh when I watched the OVa for the first time I didn't know that a Laruku song was the opening theme so it was nice surprise. Ohh it was a good OVA, don't remember the name exactly ^^;; Shinsoku ~ Lose Control I love this song cuase Hyde's voice sounds really powerful, plus he's all evil looking in the vid. Don't you guys think that he sometimes has this evil pyscho look on his face? @.@ But he still looks sexy as hell. But this song is very hard compared to most of their songs. I think the drum stands out in this song, well the guitars too. It's one of those pure rock songs. Puts you in one of those moods, this song in my L'arc top 5. "Good morning Mr. Fear" ohhh my fav lyric, "When I died my instinct was born." Hmm Hyde has interesting thoughts ne? What is love Ahhh good question. One of the first L'arc songs that I listened to, and learned to sing too. I like the fast part in the chorus. I think this is the song that made me aware of Hyde's vocal talents, although in "Forbidden Lover" he sings really well, well he sings well in all songs ^^;; I listen to this song and memories come back of early spring and working on one of websites or writing a fanfic or something. Good times ^^ Dive to Blue Another song of which I love the opening, I love the music in this song. Notice how I mention I like the music a lot, well if I understood Japanese I'd be making more comments on the lyrics, but I've only read lyric translations of most of these songs. I don't mention Hyde's vocals cuase it's an understatement to say that he sounds awesome. His voice has an amazing ability to let you feel the song even though you don't understand the lyrics. This song makes you think of a nice summer day or something. Ohh I could make a comment on every other L'arc song that I love, but then I'd end up mentioning 90% of all the songs they've released. ^^ I think that Hyde has written some lyrics that represent that way how we as fans feel about him. Not that he did this intentionally. But haven't you ever heard a Laruku song and said "That's how I feel!" well that happened to me and it got me thinking about how the lyrics that Hyde has written express how we feel about him. The silver shining "...there is nothing I want I stay with you and lose all stand still close to the moon lose all we will go please stay with me and lose all go and sail the sea I've never gone in the sun..." Sell my soul "I always see you in my dream." Kasou "...my body is in your sky and your life is in my cosmos we never come close to each other but here we exist as it is...." Spirit Dreams Inside "...I see you smiling at me A vision out of my dreams..." Winter fall "Pieces of you pieces of you Pieces of you pieces lie in me inches deep" Heh I never noticed how naughty that was ^^;; Well it sounds even worse if a girl is saying it XD The nepenthes "I want to lick you around... seductive welcoming..." Haido no hentai! XD Evergreen "You flow right thorugh me like a medicine Bringing quiet to my soul Without you I'm not whole" "I long to feel your touch..." "You've always been so dear to me." The members of L'arc en ciel make an excellent combination and make amazing music that's always evolving and offers us something new, interesting and better everytime around. We can only hope that after their haidous from the group and they've completed their solo projects that they'll keep bringing us more music and show us how well their talents blend together. L'arc en ciel are definitely one of the best jrock bands! ^^ |
