Tweaking Tips
| Disable 3D sound even if you have a hardward 3d sound card. It eats a lot of processor power. |

| If you wish to use 3D sound here are some tips for optimizing performance: |
| EffectsChannels, the higher the number the more realistic. A lower setting will improve performance. For multiplayer you should lower it to 12 or so. |
| OutputRate, the higher the setting the better quality the audio. 44100Hz is CD quality. 22050Hz is optimal for MMX machines. |
| UseDigitalMusic, set this to False to disable the in-game music from playing. This can improve performance. |
| UseDirectsound, set this to True to improve performance. |
| UseReverb, set this to True to enable reverb effects, improve performance by setting it to False (especially with A3D2 cards). |
| UseFilter, set this to True to enable filtering, improve performance by setting it to False (A3D2 cards). |
| UseStereo, set it to True for better audio quality. |
| Use surround sound, if you have a surround sound receiver e.g. Dolby Digital receiver, then you should tick this. Otherwise, leave it unticked. |
