Cara and Malia with flamingos at Lake Nakuru
Over the Easter holiday in April, we decided
to take a trip to Lake Nakuru NP. I initially tried to get into a
lodge in the park, but they wanted over $700 per night for the 4 of
us. Yeah, right. So, we stayed in a small hotel in town for
about $30 per night. Much more reasonable. We spent 1 day
touring the park, and then 1 day up viewing the crater near
Nakuru. We saw lots of wildlife, in particular flamingos and
white rhino.
