December 2007: The new office in Juba, Sudan
Ruma in her new office
The new World Bank office opened in Juba, South Sudan. Not only
did it mean that Ruma could move out of her office container, but she
could also move out of her tent as the new office also contain staff
apartments. Adding to that, there are several new restaurants in
Juba. Things are definitely looking up. With the opening of
the new office, and the Christmas season here, the bank sponsored a
small holiday party.
