This prophetic song was given to Bat Tzion at SarShalom in 2001 during
worship by Ruach HaKodesh.

As we stand in the gap, we stand in the gap, O Lord.
We stand in the gap for Israel, (X 2)
We stand in the gap for Your chosen people,
We stand in the gap until You make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
For You have chosen us to be watchmen, (X 2)
And we are watchmen over the walls of Jerusalem and
We will do our assignment,
We will be faithful to You, O Lord,
As we stand in the gap for Your chosen people.
That You will relent,
Relent Your judgment,
You will relent Your judgment against Israel,
You will have mercy, mercy, O Lord,
Mercy upon Israel.
And You will withhold Your judgment,
Withhold Your judgment against Israel,
You will be merciful,
You will be merciful to them
As we stand in the gap for them, O Lord,
You will have extra grace,
You will pour extra grace upon Israel.
That Your hands be upon Israel,
That Your Mighty Hand be upon Israel,
That You will protect Israel
Until they come back to You
And You will do,

Your work of revealing Yourself to them.
