Wow it has been a long time since I've updated! A whole year and a half! August '07 we had Choir Camo which was totally awesome. We also just recently turned in our final payments for the Rome Trip. 87 days until departure!

Well, my Mom talked to Br. Chad today (while I conveniently sat nearby) and he said that our official Rome trip will be in March of 2008!! He decided to put it back a year because he was having trouble with some fundraising issues. But there we go and that's that.

Br. Chad has the dates! He didn't say what they were, but they will be during the school year since the money difference is $1,000! He's also going to have all the kids send out fundraising letters like my friend Ashley did for her mission trip. When I find out the requirements and make it up I'll post it here. We will also be having (95% sure) a benefit banquet after we come home where the kids will get a chance to talk about everything they did while in Rome.
Br. Chad is also considering we go sing at other parishes for Mass and ask the Pastor to make a second collection for our trip. That way we can sing to please God and work for our money at the same time!

I don't know when the trip dates are but it will be sometime in June or September, and we will be staying for about 10 days. Our director is still looking at the packages though so nothing is official.

This coming year the youth choir at my church will be going to ROME!!!! I am so excited! Hoever I have to raise money for it. This is where I will keep track of everything I've earned, and later what I did.
