| The best 4 dogs will be chosen from each of these 4 classes |

| Listed below is a basic chart of how a dog show runs. The judges will start their judging with the Dog Classes (non champion Male dogs), then Winners Dog and Reserve Winners Dog. The judge will then follow the same procedure with the Bitches (non champion female dogs). The Winners Dog and Winners Bitch are now joined in the show ring with all the Champion Dogs and Bitches to compete for Best of Breed. |

| Reserve Winners Dog The Second best dog from all the dog classes. |
| Winners Dog The best of the 1st place Dogs from all the classses is chosen and Points are awarded to that dog. |
| Reserve Winners Dog The Second best dog from all the dog classes |
| Winners Bitch The best of the 1st place Bitches from all the classses is chosen and Points are awarded to that bitch. |
| Best of Breed The best example of the breed form all of the Champions, Winners Dog and Winners Bitch is now selected. the Best of Opposite Sex to the Breed Winner and the better of the Winners Dog and Winners Bitch are also chosen at this time. |
| Group Judging The best example of each breed from will now compete in 1 of seven different groups of dogs. The Best 4 of the breed winners in each group will be placed 1 to 4. The Best puppy (over 6 months old and under 1 year old) from each breed will also be selected after the group judging has been completed. These groups are: |

| Group 6 Non-Sporting |
| Group 7 Herding |
| Best In Show The 1st place winners from the 7 Groups will now compete at the end of the day for the Best Dog/Bitch being showed on that day. Only one will win Best in Show! Best Puppy in Show will be selected after the Best in Show judging is completed. |
