Dear all,

We got married in Salzburg in a smallfamily civil-ceremony in June. In February 2008, we will celebrate our wedding at the church of a small colonial village located near the beach in a place called “Choroní” in Estado Aragua / Parque Nacional Henri Pittier in Venezuela, and we would like you to join us for this very special day.

Choroni is a place where African culture mixes with Indian and Spanish traditions since the XV century. The natives play very good “tambores” (locally built drums) and non-locals just become crazy watching them dance…(We leave the rest into your imagination and Internet documentation).

It is also the place with huge plantations of one of the best cacao cultures of the world (chuao cacao). Swiss chocolates are made out of cacao from that region. The reception will take place at the oldest cacao plantation of the Pittier national park.

For security reasons we will arrange private transportation from the airport to Caracas and from Caracas to Choroní (3 ½ hours away from the real jungle “Caracas”!)

We will stay in “Posadas”. We will of course arrange things to have posadas booked at good rates.

Although, we have not made yet the invitations in paper, we wish to know if you would like to join us between Feb 20th and 24th, 2008!
