| Set at the end of the 19th century, (1899) this story loosely interweaves its self with the movie "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" (with a little "From Hell" thrown in for fun.) then veers off in its own direction as you the reader follow the only granddaughter of legendary Allan Quatermain through her adventures first as a part of the League then afterwards as she returns home to London to presue her love interest, the one and only famous Dr. Henry Jekyll, who returns her love but there's just one thing trying to come between them...Edward Hyde. They have to discover together how to get rid of Edward permantly, but even after that will they be able to live normal lives? With the Quatermain reputation hounding them at every turn and the jaded society of the late 19th century, early 20th century will Aurora be able to show London that she is indeed the perfect woman for the respected young doctor? Or will her abundance for adventure make her even more of an outcast then she was to begin with? |
