I have owned a number of snails over the years which I've found impossible to identify as any particular species. With over 100 known species of African snail, and probably many more that have not been documented yet, it is impossible to know the identifying traits of every species I encounter!
On this page I intend to discuss one of these unidentified snail, one that was particularly interesting in appearance. I plan to include a photo, a detailed description, and information about the particular habits and traits of this snail as I observed them during its lifetime. Sadly the snail in question is now deceased, and as I only ever had one, there were never any offspring.
