November 26, 2001 9:25 PM Hooray! Our first profound thought: webpages are really really really hard to make when you don't know what you're doing. We spent the last hour trying to figure this thing out. Thanks, Jessie, for helping us with our webpage! Today we talked about how hard it is to get motivated for school after a nice break like Thanksgiving. That's why we built this webpage...so we can avoid doing what we're supposed to be doing. That's all for now. We've procrastinated long enough for today. ************************
November 27, 2001 2:02 AM (Sarah's thoughts) Abby, Christine and I are trying to find fun, adventurous things to do! How come the only place that you can go tank driving is in the UK? Abby really really wants to go tank driving! (Hint: if you are going to pursue Abby, take her to the UK to go tank driving and she'll be won over!)* *Disclaimer:This is purely the personal opinion of the author...if Abby fails to be won over, I bear no responsibility and am very sorry.....but um.....at least you will have driven a tank in the UK! *********************
November 27, 2001 2:25 AM (Abby's thoughts) Alright, I don't want to be outdone here. Since Sarah wrote something about me, I would like to write about some ironies about Sarah that I have learned since living with her. First of all, Sarah says many profound statements that are almost always good enough for the SFC BBS. =) Statements like, "Do dogs bark differently in China?" and "Boy, stars are really far away!" I think the most ironic thing about Sarah though is the way in which she studies. Last year, she and I would always wait until the last minute to write our papers (well, we still do that). Sarah, however, would usually get really tired about halfway through and then tell me that she was going to take a "nap" for a couple of hours and then get up and work on her paper some more. Of course, if any of you know how Sarah sleeps, you would know what an impossible task it is to get her up once she's in bed. She was actually able to get up after a couple hours of sleep to do work ONCE. I point this out to her a lot but she INSISTS that if she goes to sleep for a little while, she'll be able to wake up and do work. She likes to point out that she was actually able to do this ONCE. =) However, I would like to point out that out of the 20 times she has done this, being able to get up to do work ONE TIME does not constitute very good odds. But Sarah still insists on trying anyways. I admire her persistence in believing this lie she has somehow managed to convince herself of. =) The other thing about her study habits is that she likes to study in bed. But, every time she studies in her bed, she falls asleep within 20 minutes. Although it's been pointed out to her MANY times that this happens when she studies in her bed, she insists that THIS time she'll be able to stay awake. I find this rather humorous because I truly believe she has convinced herself that THIS time she'll be able to stay awake, even though I have yet to witness such a historic occassion. I'm glad Sarah is very good-natured because I like to laugh at all her attempts to take "naps" between working on papers and her attempts to "study" in her bed. I think Sarah is correct in her assessment that if the building were to collapse around her but her bed was still in tact, she probably wouldn't wake up. =) i have a very cool roommate. =) p.s. Sarah saw what I just wrote and said, "awww, I have very little thoughts!" ********************
