(Sarah's thoughts)

Wow!  It's been an incredibly long time since I've updated....    I wanted to update a few times before but cable modem was doing funny things and wouldn't let me stay on long enough to let me do anything....  but enough of boring you with silly, details...here I go!

Hmm... I think the thing that I wanted to post about for a while is...well....Abby!   God totally knew what I would need when He placed us on the same floor freshmen year... I've told the story countless times about how we were supposed to meet each other and ended up on the same floor and each time and  I'm still so excited to tell the story!  I remember journaling within the first couple of days and writing about how awesome it was that God had given me a friend that was so nice and warm and bubbly =)
Living with Abby has been the biggest blessing ever!  Sometimes I think we have way too much fun here =)  From eating chips with spaghetti sauce to watching Gilmore Girls to reading sappy books (yay Todd and Christy!)  to times of procrastination (such a makings this website!)  to watching movies to listening to Chrismas music to laughing like crazy to baking cookies all day Saturday, we're able to relax, hang out, and just have fun!  We do a lot of stuff, but my favorite times are when we're both in our beds (she's got the top bunk and I've got the bottom), so we can't see each other, but we just lie there and talk away even though we were already sleepy when we got into bed... eventually we get really really sleepy, then one of us says goodnight first and then we drift off into dreamland =)  I'm sure glad that Abby can understand what I say because other people always tell me that I talk super fast, but I think she's grown accustomed to it (we save lots of time this way!)   Sometimes people ask us if we run out of things to talk about.... hee hee...hasn't happened yet!
I think the thing that I appreciate most about Abby is her heart and her caring nature.  We have great fun laughing and goofing off, but when things are hard, Abby's right there with me....encouraging me, reminding me that God is in control, and praying for me...
And for that, I am thankful beyond words =)
