She looked up at Sully and saw a proud look in his eyes. �That�s our baby Michaela.� Josef was still looking at the screen. His eyes grew slightly larger and when Michaela and Sully asked him what was going on he told them he was just excited to see his grandchild. Josef finished his exam and before letting Michaela go he told her she had to have plenty of rest. The couple left and Josef was left in the room and he was staring at the picture of the sonogram. He had noticed something strange on the screen but he didn�t want to worry either Michaela or Sully. So now that he was alone he studied the picture closer. It took a couple of minutes for him to realize that he hadn�t seen things. There was definitely something there. Chapter 14 Hank and Helene had been dating each other for a while now, and things seemed to be going wonderfully. The nurses teased him every chance they could because someone had actually managed to get him to commit. Everyone in the hospital knew that Hank was a big flirt. He specially like to flirt with Ashley, and Ashley would flirt back knowing that nothing would ever come out of it. Ashley had been talking to the nurses before she went on her lunch break as Hank passed by. She turned around and grabbed Hank�s arm. Hank stopped and started to laugh. �Ashley I have to get back to work.� �Hey Hank. Would you like to have lunch with me?� �I�d love to but I have to go see a patient.� �Well, that�s O.K. I can wait for you.� Hank looked into Ashley�s eyes and he couldn�t resist. They were good friends and he liked being around her. She always found some way to make him laugh. �Alright meet me back here in ten minutes.� Ashley nodded and watched Hank leave. Dawn, Anne and Canice all looked at Ashley and began to laugh. �What�s so funny?� �Well, it�s just that if anyone were to walk by here while you and Hank are talking they may get the wrong idea.� �Why?� �Because there�s a certain chemistry between the both of you.� �No there�s not. We�re just friends. Always have been, always will be.� Just then she felt a strong hand on her shoulder. She turned around and saw Hank smiling down at her. �Ready?� �Whenever you are.� Helene had decided to go and surprise Hank for lunch. She was walking down the main corridor when she saw Hank and Ashley talking. She wanted to speak out but before she could get anything out she saw Hank and Ashley join hands and walk off. She felt a lump begin to form in her throat, and her eyes began to water. She spun around and began running out the hospital. Dawn looked up from her paperwork and noticed Helene running with her hands covering her face. �Oh no!� �Hey Anne�� �Yes?� �Will you go and catch up with Helene?� �Helene? Where is she?� |
