Finally Matthew spoke. Will we have to go to an orphanage now?

No. You three are going to come live with us now.  So why dont you go upstairs and pack some clothes?

The children did as they were told and a few minutes later came back with their luggage, and sleeping bags.

Once they were at their house Sully and Michaela helped the children settle down in what was going to be their new rooms.

After they were all settled in Michaela and Sully headed to their room.  They were both exhausted and it didnt take long for them to sleep.

A couple of days passed and they were all gathered at the cemetery to pay their last respects to Charlotte.  Colleen and Brian had already been going through the grieving process, but Matthew was still acting like he had when he found out.  They were at the service and when they were throwing the dirt on the coffin Colleen and Brian began to cry again.  Sully looked over at Matthew and he saw him fighting back the tears.  He leaned against his ear and said, Its alright if you cry Matthew.

No it aint

Why not?

Because I have to be strong for Colleen and Brian.

Matthew, you dont have to be strong for no one.  If you want to cry let it out.

I said I dont want to. Matthew took off running away from the group and Sully took off after him.

Sully finally caught up to him and grabbed his shoulder. Matthew began kicking and swinging his arms in the air. Let me go!!

Matthew stop.

Let me go!!!

Sully pulled Matthew into his embrace and held him as tight as he could.  Matthew began to calm down and soon his screams were replaced by sobs.

ShhhIts alright. Let it out. Let it all out.

Chapter 11

The days slowly progressed and the children and newlyweds were all getting adjusted to the new living arrangements.  All of their belongings had now been moved to three of the empty rooms in the house. Brian was in the room next to Michaelas and Sullys bedroom and Colleen and Matthew were in the rooms across the hall.

Colleen and Brian had been going through the grieving process, and although Matthew tried to be strong all the time he had his moments where he broke down.  Brain was clinging to Sully more than ever.  He didnt want to leave his side for anything, and when he couldnt be with Sully he would cling to Michaela.

They were all having supper and everything was normal.  Sully was telling them all stories about when he was younger, and he had all of them laughing hysterically.  Sully was in the middle of another story when Michaelas pager went off.  She looked down and saw that it was the hospital.  She stood up from the table and went to the phone.

What is it? Sully asked from the table.

Its the hospital they want me to come in.

She went to grab her coat and her keys and almost fell over as Brian ran to her and hugged her legs.  She was startled at first and then she heard his sobs.

Brian?

You cant go.  If you go, you wont come back.

What?

Mama had to go to the hospital, and she never came back.
