Michaela knew she had to tell Sully about what William had done, but she didn�t want to ruin this special moment. So for now she just put that aside and enjoyed being in Sully�s warm embrace. The next day Michaela had to go to the hospital for half the day and had made plans to spend the rest of the days with Sully. She was standing in front of her desk and heard a knock at the door. �Come in.� She never looked to see who it was. Then she heard the door open and shut as her visitor closed it after entering. �Afternoon Michaela.� Michaela froze and a worried look came over her. She recognized that voice, and it wasn�t one she wanted to here. �What are you doing here?� She turned around and saw William with a smirk smile on his face. �I came to continue what we started.� William moved closer to Michaela and she stepped farther back. �I already told you I love Sully. I don�t want anything to do with you.� William moved closer and she moved as far back as she could until she was backed into a corner. �Come on Michaela, you and I both know that when you say no what you really mean is yes.� Before Michaela could run William put her arms around her waist. Michaela was frightened. William was so much stronger than she was and her fear had made her paralyzed. The only thing she could think of doing was to scream and hope that someone heard her. �HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!� William laughed and informed her that it was no use. Michaela couldn�t believe that so she kept yelling as loud as she could. Sully was making his way to Michaela�s office so they could go on their date and as he got closer he heard the yells. He ran the rest of the way. His beloved was in trouble and he had to help her. He opened the door and was terrified at what he saw. His brother, his own flesh and blood was trying to force himself on Michaela. Michaela had tears coming down her face and his heart broke. �What is going on here?� William quickly got up and Michaela took the opportunity to run to Sully. Sully pulled her into his protective arms and she began to sob. �I asked you a question. Just what in God�s name do you think you�re doing.� William still had that smirk smile and responded, �I wasn�t doing anything she didn�t want.� Sully felt his blood start to boil at that response. He let go of Michaela and before William could react he punched him in the eye. William tried to punch back, but Sully was too agile for him. He ducked every punch that was thrown at him. Michaela had called security, and they were there in a few minutes. They took William and as they were heading out the office Sully told William he never wanted to see him again and the best thing for him to do was to leave town. After the security guards took William away, Sully took Michaela in his arms again. �Are you o.k.? Did he hurt you?� Michaela shook her head and felt the tears starting again. �Shh� It�s going to be fine, I�m here now.� �Oh Sully, I�m so sorry I should have told you sooner.� �Sooner? You mean this wasn�t the first time it happened?� �No, he made a pass at me last night, but when I told him I was going to tell you he told me you would never believe me. I�m so sorry.� �It�s O.K. Michaela, and just so you know I�ll always believe you. I trust you.� After Michaela had settled down, they decided to go for a walk. They walked passed a museum that had a new display over the history of Colorado Springs. Sully wasn�t one for museums, but Michaela managed to talk him into going. They looked at all the pictures that were there. There were pictures of Indians, and everyday life in the little town. Michaela was a few steps ahead of Sully and she froze when she came to a particular picture. �Sully, come here quick.� �What is it?� �This picture.� |
