| �I don�t think he has.� Dawn replied.
�I�m just glad Sully�s smiling again.� Dorothy said. Michaela and Sully spend almost all of their free time together and it seemed that Sully had lunch with her almost every day. Sometimes he would even join her and her friends for lunch. As Anne, Dorothy, Dawn and Ashleigh spent more time with the both of them they noticed how close they were getting. However they weren�t the only ones to notice, Abigail noticed as well. They were all having lunch one day and having a good time when Anne noticed Abigail at another table staring at them. �Look over there� she whispered to Dawn. Dawn followed her gaze and saw Abigail. �She doesn�t look too happy.� �That�s what I was thinking. You don�t think she�d try anything do you?� �I wouldn�t put it past her.� When they finished their meal, they headed out of the restaurant. On the way back to the hospital, Michaela told Sully he�d left something at her house and she�d put it inside the desk for safe keeping. As they reached the hospital Sully asked her if it would be alright for him to drop by and get it that afternoon. Michaela told him that she had a late shift but that he was more than welcome to go by and pick it up. Dawn, Anne, Ashleigh and Dorothy were walking behind them talking about Abigail. �What exactly happened between her and Sully?� Ashleigh asked. �I mean I know they were getting close to being engaged and then they broke up.� �Well, last summer Sully went to spend some time with his brother and his plan was to propose to Abigail when he got back. When he got back he�d heard rumors about her cheating with one of his friends. Sully didn�t want to believe it, he knew that Abigail would never betray him. Then one day he thought it would be nice if he surprised her at home with some flowers and the one that was surprised was him. � �What do you mean?� Ashleigh asked. �Well when he got to her place, he went inside and found her making out with his friend on her couch. When she saw him she told him that he had come on to her and that it didn�t mean anything. Sully didn�t believe her and he broke it off with her.� �Oh wow.� Ashleigh said in disbelief. After Sully walked the ladies back to the hospital, he decided to drop by Michaela�s house. He searched the desk and the only thing he found was an envelope with Sully on it. He took it out of the desk and opened the letter that was inside and began to read it. As he read it, the only words he focused on were �I love you.� He read and re read the letter making sure that was what it said. When he was done he folded the letter back up and stuck it in his pocket. As he left her house his head was flooded with a million thoughts. Did she really love him? Could it possibly be true? He had to find out, he had to know if it was real. |
