Sara T. and Aviation!

Flying planes is the most difficult and the most
rewarding thing in my world!

As noted on my homepage, I first learned to fly in 1981, re-learned in 2000-01.
I have now taken the Instrument written for a second time (improved the score at least!), so bought myself more time to get solidly within ALL the PTS parameters, with lots of help from my core CFI Chris.

On 29-May-03, my CFI signed me off to fly Cougar's newest addition, a Skyhawk II SP - 180 hp! Lovely Garmin 430, too, though that is not IFR. It's Kev's and my fave x-ctry bird, JVL, SPI, etc. Here is a refueling at McClelland FBO at SPI.

88H left the Cougar fleet, so I moved up to a 180 horse Piper Cherokee, an Archer II! Chris signed me off to fly N4315V on 05-Apr-03. I did a bunch of cross country in it, including me and Kev to SPI (where this pic was taken)!

On 01-Jun-02, my CFI signed me off to fly this lovely C172 (N6588H)! (This photo is from one of our starting-to-be-many trips to KSPI!)
(You can finally tell in this pic that I am now adding a lot less personally to the wt & balance calcs!)

On 31-Mar-02, my CFI Chris signed me off to fly Piper
Cherokee Warriors on my own! Mainly I flew this tried and true bird, N38861.

The plane in which I soloed 4-Nov-2001,
Milford & Cougar's C150 N704CB!
