When their own muse is captured by the warlock, Devlin, the sisters must look within themselves to find the inspiration for the vanquish of the century.

A Paige from the Past

While Paige is sent back to past to confront the reason her parents were killed in a car crash, Piper must find a way to banish the ghosts that have possessed Phoebe's and Cole's bodies. The spirits, outlaws from the fifties, have an unfinished job to do. One that involves the ring and dress that they stole at gunpoint. Paige gets Cole a position at the social services office as a legal aide, and she finds a young boy who had run away from his foster parents. He is what's called a Firestarter, which is a rare and coveted magical being. Afraid for the boy's safety, she takes him back to the manor, where Piper and Leo are arguing about whether or not they will bind their future children's powers. To save the boy from the bountyhunters that want him for his power, Piper, Paige, and Phoebe must find a spell to free him, but how can they when Phoebe has gone black and white?

When a Seer has a vision of the Source's demise by the Charmed Ones, he is determined to make sure that he can get rid of them first, even if it means that he detroys everything, including himself. By releasing the Hollow, an ancient power so great that it can only be contained with the help of both good and evil, he begins taking the sisters' powers one by one. He sends demons in his stead, with the Hollow inside them to absorb the powers. When he has both Piper's and Paige's powers, he goes after Phoebe who had had a premonition about the half-faced Source throwing a fireball at her and Cole jumping in front of her, despite the Seer's warning that the Hollow will destroy everything. While attempting to reproduce her exploding power, Piper has a chat with Leo, who received new info from the elders. Before they have a chance to use the information that Leo gave them, a dark-lighter appears and shoots Leo through the abdomen. He refuses to let Phoebe switch powers with him so he can be healed, in case the Source tries to attack. The Seer, who is afraid for her own safety, summons Cole to her lair, where she makes a deal with him. He helps her to get rid of the Source, he can save his witch. Can Cole save Phoebe from the Source, or are the Charmed Ones doomed?
