Ticks aka Vikram
This gentle giant spent all 4 years of his IIT life without ever turning
off the light in his room! Known for his wierd crashing habits, Ticks used to
discuss fundaes with Satyan, and during the wee hours of the morning
disseminate them to the rest of the Mech. junta. A stud in footer, Ticks
has represented the insti and the hostel, also used to keenly take part
in crossy, treasure hunt etc. Finished his Masters from UPitt, then worked
for Deloitte for a few years, completed his MBA from Kelloggs and is currently
working at Navteq in Chicago.

Sog aka Saravanan
Thanks to Pondy Mohan, Sog gets his name. The one stop shop for all Civil
textbooks, come beginning of a sem, junta used to ask Sog for favours.
Known to be his BTech. project guide's most favourite student ever, rumour
has it that Sog got a reco which put eons of student recos to shame. Sog has
represented the hostel in Tennis and was keenly involved with various
six-a-side events. Finished his Masters at UMass-Amherst, worked at i2 and
is currently pursuing his PhD at Harvard.

Magic aka Ganesh
The black hole of Saras was Magic's room, anything which you had ever lost,
you could find in his room. A true sports stud, Magic has represented
the Insti in Footer and Basky and the hostel in pretty much every sport
Also an avid Cul enthusiast, magic has taken part in various Cul events
for Lit-Soc and during MG-Saarang. Finished his Masters from Penn State
and has been working at MicroStrategy even since shaping the future of
Business Intelligence.

Lingam aka Bharath
If it ever came to finding out the meaning of an obscure word in the English
language, Lingam was the person to be contacted. Known for his
tremendous repertoire of English words, Lingam's room was often frequented
during the reco writing season. Was the Editor of Campastimes in his final
year. Lingam has represented the hostel in various Lit-Soc events. Currently
he is one of the most high profile Sarasites, doing biz-dev at Sathyam

Petro aka Sanjay
A born cracko, Petro never used to mug before exams, but would end up doing
very well. Aptly named Petro, short for the PetroMax bulb due to his
"acute" interpretory skills when it came to jokes, this high enthu guy
served as the hostel Soc Sec and then went on to become the Insti Cul Sec
in his final year. Finished his Masters at Ohio State, worked at i2,
Sony, Demantra, and will be starting his MBA at Sloan in the summer of
2006.

Suman aka Suman
This half blind self proclaimed hockey and cricket star wanted to become
Bollywood's top villian, however he lost focus (pun unintended)
somewhere along the way and ended up on the faculty roster at Texas A&M
University after completing his PhD from U Michigan. Word has it that
he spends half his time at the gym and the other half calling his
fiancee back in India.

Bihari aka Ranjeev
Known for his cold stares especially after bowling a slower one or after
being tripped in footer, this 4th winger was more famous for spending
his time in the 6th wing. His appetite for thulping grub was renowned
although appearance wise no one could have guessed. Joined Bharat Earth
Movers after IIT, not sure where he is now. If you happen to know his

Jet aka Ram
His panache for cracking interviews can only compare with his skill for
cracking PJs. He was a generous contributor to wing-cot discussions and
will be remembered for taking the exact change to Tarams so that no one
could bum off him. An avid hiking enthusiast, Jet has scaled quite a few
peaks in his heyday, he now focusses on climbing the corporate ladder.
He completed his MBA from IIM-C and is currently working at Kobe, Japan
with Proctor and Gamble.

Shoe aka Sheshadri
The dual existence of this bloke could never be figured out by anyone,
nevertheless, it didnt stop the rest of his batchmates from picking
on him throughout the 4 years. Known as the parking lot of 4th wing,
Shoe's room was a favourite hangout place. Shoe was famous for redoing
his tut sheets and rewriting his notes. He went on to complete his
MBA from IIM-C and currently is working at Infosys in Bangalore.
