Anyway, I am a seventeen-year-old girl who lives in Southwest Iowa. I will be a senior in high-school, this year, and plan on attending either Northwest Missouri State University or Iowa State University.
I have been in band since the sixth grade, starting on the clarinet. Now, however, I have started playing the bari sax. I've been in Speech Contest for three years and have discovered that Public Address is the best category for me. I'm a member of the NHS and was the manager of our school wrestling team. I'm also on the school newspaper/yearbook staff and was in the school musical, Sleeping Beauty, as Merryweather.
I am not, however, one of the popular people. My friends are the 'losers', 'freaks', and 'outcasts' of our school. Quite frankly, that's how I like it. I plan to one day be a high school teacher living and working in a small town similar to my own, but maybe in another state.
