Laughter, tears And everything in between Honesty, loyalty And trusting with secrets Someone you can turn to All hours of the day Putting them before yourself And always dealing with problems Cheerful, helpful And showing lots of interest Support, comfort All, the meaning of friendship A Friend is a Treasure A friend is someone we turn to, when our spirits need a lift. A friend is someone we treasure, for our friendship is a gift. A friend is someone who fills our lives, with beauty, joy and grace. And make the world we live in, a better and happier place. Friendships Come and Friendships Go Like wave upon the sand Like day and night Like birds in flight Like snowflakes when they land But you and I are something else Our friendship's here to stay Like weeds and rocks and dirty socks It never goes away! The Ship I Long To Ride The ship of friendship is the one I long to ride, The ship whose sails will never misguide. The ship whose anchor will hold steadfast, Until the final days of my life have past. The ship whose wheel will not go astray, But will guide me in the right direction day by day. The ship whose body will never rot or decompose, For it will help me through all my life long woes. The ship whose deck will never let on an overflowing tide, This is the ship of friendship, the one I long to ride. A Friend is a Person To laugh and cry with, An inspiration, Someone who lends a helping hand, though friends may not be forever, And they may not end up together, the memories of a true friendship will last forever. A friend is not a shadow nor a servant But someone who hold a piece of a person in his heart. Someone who shares a smile, Someone who brightens up your day What makes a person a friend? Is by saying your Love will stay. Don't Worry - I'll Help I will support you when days do seem dark, when you feel that you can't stop the pain in your heart. I will be there for you and I'll hold your hand, together we'll make it out of this Shadowland. Never forget that I think of you often wondering how you are and if you've forgotten; or if you are crying alone with your pain, thinking it's hopeless and that you are to blame. I hope that you aren't because it isn't your fault, you've just become victim to the bad side of love. It happens to most people some time in their life and it hurts a great deal, worse than a knife.
