Cascade Mountains in the distance
Mount Rainier, 60 miles from Seattle.  Although difficult to see in this photo, the volcano is centered just to the viewer's right of the tall skyscraper buildings.
Although difficult to see here,  the Cascade Mountains are a lovely backdrop to this West Seattle neighborhood.
Volcanic rock is often used as landscape accents in Seattle neighborhoods
