| This is James. He is my prize treasure of my collection and sits next to Stan on my dresser. I would never have had the opportunity to obtain such a wonderful typewriter if it hadn't been for the yahoo typewriter group connection and networking. Paul Robert was in touch with this lovely lady named Edith who was getting rid of her late husband's office items, of which this typewriter was one. Paul was able to get Edith in touch with me, and she was generous enough to send me the typewriter. It is a beautiful piece of machinery that was well taken care of and everytime I look at it I smile. James is named after his owner in respectful memory. |
