The cannon was powered by springs (i doubt babynames.com came up with that) The first bicycle had a horse head carved on the front of it (maybe horses arent that lucky...you dont see them on our bikes) The first automatic vending machine sold postcards. Later, items for sale broadened to eggs, perfume, condensed milk, handkercheifs, cough drops, sugar, and accident insurance (i can just picture a little dude inside the machine saying 'need insurance??? pay a nickel and i'll try to squeeze out of the machine for you" :) |
