Why does He love me non-stop
through all the seasons?
Because to love me
I have given Him no reasons.
I do love Him but still I run
For reason I don’t know
Not caring where I’m coming from
and even less of where I go
It seems I run toward the pain
Don’t enjoy the sunshine
Feel comfort in the rain
As I run.. I do stumble
skin my knees and scrape my chin
Still not caring where I’m going
and even less of where I’ve been.
I hear Him calling my name
That makes me run faster faster
I’m not sure of why I run
Cause I do love my Lord and Master
One day I grew weary
I fell hard and hit the ground
Couldn’t get back up
In me
no strength was found
But He picked me up
Wiping away
All my sweat and tears
I said to my Lord
"Please tell me…
why have you loved me through the years?”
He answered me
“My dear child
my Agape from you
will never part
Because
even though you ran
I have always
known your heart”
I realized His love for me
And my soul cried that day
I felt a passion to serve my Lord
And to never run away
I know that even though
One day I might again be weak
I have the words of Truth in me
And those I will then speak
That sin exists. I will resist
But if sin again I would
“Greater is He that is in me
Than he that is in the World”.
