| Dear Sir/ Madam, Please take a few minutes of your time to read this letter. I�m writing to you today to ask you for a little sponsorship for Scott Smith. Scott has joined the Newport Wasps for the 2001 season; he has come over from Australia having to leave all his family and friends to try to establish himself as an international speedway rider. At the start of the season Scott was doing very well and seemed to settle in at Newport but after a few injuries, Scott is now finding it hard to regain the form he had at the beginning of the season. Scott is a very gutsy rider that never gives up. Scott is 20 years old, he has worked all winter in Australia to earn enough money to last him the season. The expense of machinery repairs and the cost of living, that money is now running low. He has qualified for the World under 21 Championship so he is showing a lot of potential. Scott has now returned back to Austrailia and is currently riding very well over there. He has signed a new contract for Newport and will be with them for the 2002 season. The Newport team has struggled over the past two season but is now back with full force. The 2002 team consists of Scott and two Australians who were in the excelent 1999 team who were runners up in the league and won the Premier Trophy. If you could help this very talented youngster or the Newport Wasps team in whatever way you can it would be very much appreciated.
