Just what you never really wanted to know about the place where I live. I live in a really small town, population about 2 people...okay not really that small, about 14,000 I guess. We live in a prison town, so you're not supposed to pick up any hitchhikers on the highway, that's what the sign says...I can't see why though. In some respects, my town is really boring. Like this picture is typical front page news. Whoopie!
This is soooo exciting, we finally got a Taco Bell! Every now and then we do get some really shocking stories in the paper though. Like a certain recent one I won't even go into on this page. GRRR! But back to the subject of food, this town is wierd. We have 2 Chinese Resterants, like 9 pizza places, 3 Sub Shops, NO REAL MALL (Lodi...5 stores yeah!), a tatoo parlor, a piercing place, and a strip club, The Booby Trap. We didn't use to have a movie theater, but now we finally do, but they don't even play new movies. Ask almost any teen in the town what there is to do for fun here, they
would probably say "party". That seems to be the common going on in town among teen residents, and the adults too. Parties are always getting broken up. Our town does however does have the worlds largest swingspan bridge, and since we're on the river...really great boating. The river is a great place to hang out. I love boating. Another attraction of the town is the Old Fort. Here you can travel back to the early 1800s.
I've even worked here. I've worn those uh... interesting outfits, and cooked stew the oldfashioned way. And played out part of the plot, and all that other fun stuff. I actually really liked doing that. Well that's about all I can say about this cruddy, tiny town. I guess I shouldn't be so down on it, we have a good choral program, and it'd be a great city to visit, just don't ever move here if you aren't stuck here already.
