The Philosophies of Me...
or something like that?
Well that's a nice serene picture.  Compliments of my friend Dave.  Thanks Bud!  Anyways... On to my beliefs about life.  It'll probably end up alot of rambling, cause that's the way I do things like this.  How we came to be about:  I personally believe in creation, that we humans were created by a superior being.  However I do not know how that being came about, I don't worry too much about that aspect either.  That's where I believe faith comes in.  There are certain aspects that I feel we will never be able to comprehend.  So I leave them at that.  No use in getting a migraine over it.  I also believe in living life with no regrets.  If you do something dumb, make a not to yourself, don't do it again, learn from it... but don't dwell on it.  It won't change just because you think about it all the time.  And share your experiences with others, it may save them from making similar mistakes, or at least let them know there is someone else out there who understands what they are going through.  I believe that everyone should give.  By seeking to make others happy you usually find yourself also being affected.  It's like money.  If you keep all your money to yourself and never spend it, it stops circulating.  The hoarding keeps it from returning to you and enhancing the economy, thus making everyone poorer.  I also believe that you should try to be nice to everyone, and not in a fake way either.  In the words of a girl named Sara Ray, "To the world, you may be just one person.... but you one person, you may just be the world."  You never know when someone may be having a really bad day.  A simple smile and  "Hello." may make them feel that someone really cares about them.  When someone lashes out at you, instead of lashing out learn to counter it positively, or do nothing.  That person may be handling way too much stress and just need an outlet.  Besides you should be strong in yourself, and know that it doesn't matter what anyone else says.  In the words of rapper Raekwon, "Everywhere you walk, a man's gonna judge your walk.  But only you can judge yourself at the end of the day."  Like I said on my witch and moan page, the people in your life will drift in and out of it.  But you will always be there, living with your thoughts, actions, and consequences.  The power of choice, choosing simple things, the everyday trivial matters is perhaps the greatest power we will ever posess as humans.  For our life is really just a complilation of every choice you've ever made.  And every second is a choice.  Whether it is a subconsious choice you don't even realize you're making, like whether to move your hair out of your face and behind your ear, or something really big, like who you're going to marry.  Every single one of these choices is
stacked on each other, and built up... it is this "pile" that determines every bit of your future.  And you must take advantage of every one of those moments.  While a similar circumstance may come about, that one moment is lost forever.  Each second that passes is another opportunity gone forever.  If you could change one second of the past, who knows how the future could turn out.  But you can't play the "what if" game.  You don't have time to live in the past.  The present slips by much too quickly as it is.  But you can't live for the future either.  You may not have a future, you could be killed in a car wreck on your way home.  And then what would happen to all those plans you'd stored up and been working for.  Instead, live your life for this precious moment in time that will never come again.
